Why is its file extension .jpg? I thought it had to be .gif

http://i35.tinypic.com/2ikwghg.gifFor some reason Tinypic makes them .jpg even though they still look the same. Either way I didn't use the Tinypic image for my avatar because it says the file size is too big. I take ti straight from my computer.

Hmm, I couldn't get it to work either, or any other .gif image for that matter. Seems that I've hit my usefulness limit. Sorry.

The problem is most likely that when a GIF is resized, it only resizes the first frame and therefore cannot be animated. In order to have an animated gif for an avatar, it needs to be within the size limitations, which for avatars is 80x80.

I found this random GIF Resizer (http://www.smileygenerator.us/t/gifresize/), but I can't guarantee it will work.

Nevermind... I got it resized and it still remains the same still image, but in a shittier quality.

Always sunny, nice. Even though I only really enjoy the first season.

I can get it to work, but the file is about 8 times to big.

Smaller GIF perhaps? About 8 times as short.
I haven't seen a lot of GIF's working in forum avatars, though some does. I'll try that resizing program.

That is what I did to get the small one, but the file size is to big. You might be able to reduce the quality in photoshop.

Voilà. Not the greatest GIF, but hey it works. I have some other random ones which i'll try out too. Thanks for the GIF resizer btw!
