Xbox 360 no picture?

So I was at my friends house and my picture started to be a little weird, It almost looked like it couldnt render but it had. So today I bring it home, plug it in but no picture? All there was, was sounds and some static when it turned on. I really dont want to send this in and possibly get it back after christmas when I have new games. So anyone know of a way I could try to get this to work without taking it apart?? ugh, i hate my life.

Well, you can't see your games either, so just try it.

If your box is rendering I would hazard a guess at a lose wire in the connection to the TV. Try borrowing a working connector from a friend and see what happens.
