XForgery November Update (1 of 1)
Although there is little change compared to the last update, hopefully, it will bring more change. You'll understand more as you read on.
First Affiliate (We're drawing attention)

We've broken away from our first affiliate for reasons that I will not say publicly.
New Map Submission Forum (Yes, we do listen)
As our site grows it will bring on a lot of diversity and with that, we will do our best to accommodate everyone. Earlier this month, we had a new user register and brought a slew a maps that he thought belonged in a new map submission forum. So, instead of storming off, ranting with a furled brow upon his face, he made a suggestion thread (http://%5BURL=%22http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=855) in hopes of easing his pain. Within a day of creating the thread, we came to a conclusion that it would be a good idea and began to implement the idea.

Far Cry 2 Map Submission (For all of you who won't forge in Halo...)
The Far Cry 2 map submission form is primed and ready to go! This can no longer hold you back, so get out there and build some maps!

Promotions and Usergroup Changes (Just when we thought we had enough)
With the addition of the competition modification (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/competitions.php) we (Null and I) realized that we didn't need more responsibilities on the site. Thus came the addition of Event Moderator. This new usergroup has two tasks, to run the majority of the competition modification and be actively running most of the gamedays (like this Saturday's (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=16&day=2008-12-6)). Since we had to add a usergroup, we added the long-awaited Retired Staff for those who once held an honorable position but had to leave it for whatever reason.
What can we do with a new usergroup if nobody occupies it? That's right, make it look pretty and make you wonder and jealous. Although we're that mean, we didn't do it this time, so we gave the new position to Shellshock (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=13). So, whenever you want to complain about the tournaments or want your map in the upcoming gameday, PM him. Do it.
Another note-worthy promotion is a sweet adition to the Review Staff. We welcome this newbie with open arms and enjoy his maturity and pr0n mini-games. That's right, we've added the mini-game mistral, Morphine.
Featured Maps (Finally)
Since we are extremely far behind on this one, we're releasing five, that's right 5, featured maps with this update. Unfortunately, they are all in Halo 3 because the low amount of maps in the other two games, but getting featured is something to work for. Pairing up with the reviews of the review team and comments on the map submission, we will select a couple maps in-between updates and one to go with it.

As you can tell from the title of this segment, this will be an awards system to give you something to work towards or just have neat things that you've earned throughout your membership at XForgery. Just as more of a sneak peak, there will be awards for the following:

Map Submission
Getting featured
Winning challenges
and much, much more!
