OverviewSo here I am writing up another feature thread, and this time I had the pleasure to play the Honor Blades (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8406) gametype created by Time Glitch.

To start off, this is not your normal game of Infection as you know it, especially in the Fat Kid era. The Zombies are more like the Humans and the Humans more like the Zombies. The catch is, you still have to kill those Humans, but rest assured knowing that for each one you kill, you still gain an ally or that guy who takes all of your kills.

The Zombies are given a Battle Rifle, an Assault Rifle, and two frag grenades. The key items you will be using are those grenades so I hope you know how to lug them for that shield destroying implant and follow up with the BR or AR. The Humans themselves get Energy Swords and are pretty resilient though far from invincible (blame those corners instead). One thing to note, the Zombies are still slightly faster than the Humans so keep that in mind for your tactics.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about this gametype is the fact that it is not designed for any one map in particular. Sure, you're told to play it on Construct, but you have a variety of choices to play this gametype with. The larger parties (Honor Blades+) are recommended maps like High Ground while smaller parties (Honor Blades) with Epilogue. The choice is yours, and this gametype will surely have some stuff made for it as Time Glitch has hinted towards new maps.

So, get out there and give this gametype a whirl. It's definitely something worth looking at for an interesting game of Infection.

YAY!

You guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for this to get recognition. It has always seemed to be that game that everyone knew about, and everyone loved to play (...when the party leader loaded it), but no one ever thought to bring up in game or in the forums. Wonderful!
