I found this video in the related search feature on YouTube, and I must say the person who made it is great at making astounding maps in under an hour.

The recording is of the PC version of Far Cry 2 if you don't notice the window.

All I can say is "Wow.........."

Too bad it won't go that fast on the console editor.......

I don't know about that. If you know what you're doing, I'm sure just about anyone could do that. The snap feature makes it a snap to do most things, and control over each individual axis helps.

The snap feature only works for a few things, like fences/walls and bridges and still the control over each axis can be clunky because it is also dependent on the camera angle.

The control from a mouse and menus on the PC versus what we have on the consoles is extremely different, and ours is far more prone to error because of the lack of exactness available.

I'm not complaining about the map editor, it is utterly amazing, especially compared to what else is available on consoles, or just in general, I'm just stating that I doubt he could do what he did on a console in under an hour, no matter how much experience he had in the editor.

OMG, this would be more incredible on Xbox but still wow! I know how that map editor is, and there is ALOT of stuff. He must've know excatly what he was making.

Ya but a much different interface and probably not as speedy and Xbox has a few more limitations to the maps

Yes, you get a large junk of land where you're allowed to add objects and alter the terrain.

Hm. I won't buy it now because I'm mysteriously down 88 bucks *cough*Halo Wars*cough* but when I can I'll check it out.
