Nice, liking the sprint a lot too. Is the pistol hard to use? In Halo 3 it was really difficult to aim and crap.

It hurts, deep inside, when you turn your Xbox on and more people on your FL are playing the Reach Beta than playing Halo 3. I had Adelyss, You(timmy), and someone.. I can't remember, they were on the 3rd page of friends though.. It might have been Polaris Varient.. I don't remember though.

ALSO! Did anyone else notice the orgasmic grenade animation? They fucking spin in the air and if you watch the path they travel (or at least the part that emits light) it wobbles up and down. It's epic.

Pistol is a pretty reliable weapon in Reach. Most of my kills are from it.

DMR and needle rifle are also very reliable. Needle Rifle has better accuracy but the DMR can take less shots to kill someone. The key is timing your shots.

DMR and needle rifle are also very reliable. Needle Rifle has better accuracy but the DMR can take less shots to kill someone. The key is timing your shots.

I like the Pistol but when I use it I find that it is hard to aim sometimes. I always seem to lose track of the reticule even though it is in the center of the screen and I shoot just to the side of someone. The recoil and reticule bloom on the pistol also annoy me.

Also I think the DMR and Needle Rifle take the same amount if you do 4 shots to take out shields then headshot. But to the body only the Needle Rifle will supercombine before the DMR kills.

Also if you're lonely get in a game with me, but if we play FFA expect mass assassinations.

@soren They took out Flag Juggling if you're talking about him not doing that... I'm so happy they did. But it sucks how the Flag carrier always has a waypoint.


Overall guys the beta kicks ass. Nothing feels better than playing FFA with like 5 friends and pulling off the kick ass assassinations over and over again. Feels so good. Oh and the connection in this game is phenomenal! In MW2 it takes me at least 5-10 minutes to find a game alone. Close to 20 if I'm in a party or hosting a party with friends. In Reach I find games in less than a minute!! It is amazing! I haven't experienced any lag and it doesn't seem like host has a noticeable advantage over others. The only time we needed to use Host Migration was when someone left. Not because someone was picked for host with a shit connection. I LOVE IT!

I'm taking this comment with a grain of salt. There's only 5,000 people online at most right now. Come back tomorrow when we have 500,000 people flooding the servers. It may still be good, but big events like this have a tendency to have some bumps in the road.

Gonna have to side with the logic for this one. Let's see, MW2 has a constant of 500k+ players online. Beta before the public release only has about 5k+ like .Tim said. It takes you 5-10 minutes to find a game because your Internet connection must be shitty. I look for a game in MW2 and find one within a minutes. Never has it taken me 5-10, or anywhere close to 20 with a party. This one seems like it has everything to to with your connection.
