Welcome to another version of XForgery's "Weekend of Win" for April 16th - April 19th!
Let's face it, you've worked your ass off all week at your job (or school) and contributed endless hours of your life to someone else. It's time to say "Enough is enough" as you take back what's rightfully yours: Your Life! So grab a seat, kick back, and chill with other XF members by playing some kick ass custom games together! This weekend is all about you and your free time!
What is this...Weekend of Win?
Weekend of Win or "WoW" is an event where several users of XForgery (3-5 on average) host custom matches across various games and platforms. While this is indeed a site dedicated to the Halo games, this event allows users to branch out and play different games with their fellow XF members. The main goal of this event is to "bring people together" regardless of what game it is.
Who's allowed to host WoW?
Why anyone can be a host for this event, including yourself! That's right, there's no restrictions on who can host or not host! If you want to host a game, feel free to sign up!
That's Awesome! How do I sign up for host?
You can sign up by simply posting in this thread. However to make things easier for both the event directors and the users who might be interested in your event, be sure you post with the following information:
Game: What game(s) will you be playing for your WoW party? You can play multiple games in a day, however it's best to stick with one unless you have the endurance to host multiple sessions in a day.
Time: What time do you plan on hosting the game, how long, and what time zone are you in?
Platform: Which platform is the game on (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, etc).
Max Players: How many players will you allow in your party at a time? Please note most multiplayer games already have a max player limit built in, so make sure you check the game first before entering this information.
Party: Is the party open to everyone or is it invite only? If the party is invite only, a link to your user profile will be added so people can contact you.
Reminder: Do you want a reminder for all of XForgery to see? By saying yes, your information will be posted as a shoutbox announcement during that particular day.
Additional information (optional): This is for anything else that the previous sections did not cover.
You can get a head start by posting in the "Weekend of Win leader sign up" thread before the actual Weekend of Win thread goes live! That way your information will be up the moment these threads hit the front page.
You can find the thread at the link below (it's updated every monday):

So I'm now a host, how do I invite people?
We currently have 3 accounts designed for hosts to invite users from the XForgery community. The current accounts are as follows:
A Forgery A
A Forgery B
A XF Comp A - For serious competitive players.
If you want to host WoW, you must be on one of these friends lists at all times. This is the only requirement we have for our potential hosts and it will help you get users into your party.
Also if you plan on hosting Halo 3 games, here's a few links that might enhance your party a bit!
Feature Top 5 (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2000)
Featured Maps (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=19)
I'm not a host. Can I still join in on the fun?
Of course you can! Even if there's no games going on, you can always create your own WoW party right then and there! As stated before, this is a weekend long celebration of your free time. The purpose of this thread is for users to get people together at scheduled times. However if you're a guy that creates a party out of the blue and you're successful at it, by all means go for it!
