Among things posted in each thread will be very standard items and so there won't be much variety in what I say for each thread, but it's important updated stuff.

It's as following:
Current Round:
Removed. You can view the new updated line-up in the group.
Current Standings in Points: (updated in the afternoon poll)
1. Silver0range: 134
2. Letol: 131
3. Fenian Bhoy: 120
4. OMNOMNOMINATOR: 113
5. DIRT JOCKEY: 88

Still Want to Enter?
After much deliberation, I've decided to let you join up until the penalty equals 50 Points. How do you know what you're penalty will be? Well, the following equation will answer that:
Starting Points = 50-(2+(2x-1)) "x" = # of days late. So, if you want to join, please do so as quickly as you can. Your form must still follow the layout as specified here (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7787)
Still Looking For Help:
I need banners and images. I need more images representing the maps than I need banners though so my main desire is to have those. As you can probably see from this thread, I only have the images that were from the thread the map/gametype was from. It would be awesome if I could get cool (overview) screenshots of these maps for the threads. I only ask that they be no larger than 281 pixels in height. Banners on the other hand need to say in some way "Tower of Babel Tourney" and be at max, 600x200 pixels. Thank you for any images you submit.
Copied and Pasted FAQ:
FAQ
Q. This sounds too complicated and I'm not sure what to do.
A. Basically, if you want to do well, you have two weeks to research the maps/gametypes provided and create a forecast on how well you anticipate each map/gametype will do. Maps/gametypes that you think will perform well will most likely be one of your Main Picks and judged considering your other Main Picks for its Priority Level. If you're uncertain about a map/gametype or think it will perform badly, you will most likely have it as a Secondary Pick.

Q. Yes, but that's still too confusing for me.
A. Maps/gametypes that you feel will perform well = Main Picks. Other maps/gametypes that you feel will not perform well = Secondary Picks. You don't have to perfect about it either.

Q. Why Priority Levels?
A. Only having two categories to put your maps/gametypes in leaves it way too broad and too easy for members to have identical entry forms. With Priority Levels, you can split your predictions more and can receive more benefit from doing so with maps/gametypes that you have higher hopes for, or for maps/gametypes that you aren't entirely sure about you can receive less against you in the event of it losing.

Q. Does this cost anything to enter?
A. No.

Q. Do I have to vote in each poll?
A. No.

Q. Will the winning map/gametype get anything?
A. At this current moment, no, it will not receive anything.

Q. Why are you running this?
A. Because I can.

Q. Why not have an Event Director run this?
A. Because I don't believe they need to as I have sufficient resources to do so myself.

Q. If I don't enter, can I still vote?
A. Yes, you may still vote at your leisure. Entering the tourney is not a requirement to vote.

Q. What of the Poll of the Day during this tourney?
A. It will be replaced by this until the tourney is over and will return to normal at that time.

Q. I hate you for the answer above.
A. Alrighty then.

Q. I notice you mention an area about a tie in the Scoring section, but no where else. What's with that?
A. In the event of a tie, no points will be given and the poll will be ran again the next day after the tie in the hopes the tie will not occur again.

Q. What if the tie happens again?
A. Unless someone sets out to make it occur again, the tie should not happen again. If it does, I'll place it against another map/gametype from the same round that hasn't already been put up for voting.

Q. I don't feel that the (winning/available) maps/gametypes are truly the best and that others should have (won/been available).
A. We are of the same thought, and precisely why this is the Tower of Babel Tourney. To some degree, the results will be accurate, but we'll never know for sure and thus the tower just continues.

Q. Did you expect me to read all of this?
A. No, I'm sure you didn't read the question above if you ask this question.

Q. Where did that list of maps/gametypes come from?
A. I got a little over 50 from the Feature forum and the rest from the Community Challenger winners. It was a pain to put them together.

Q. Hey, one or more of those maps/gametypes are no longer available for download. How can I vote or make my forecast accurately?
A. Well, if you feel you don't have enough information to vote for a particular map/gametype, vote for the other. If you're not sure of where to put it in your forecast, put it lower such as in your Secondary Picks for insurance.

Q. What's a question?
A. Silly questioner.

Q. So, about the polls, how are you doing them?
A. Each day I will post two polls. My plans are to have one out at the normal time for the Poll of the Day, or the morning for those who don't know of the Poll of the Day around 6:00 AM CST. The second poll I have planned to post around 3:00 PM CST. In both polls there will be two maps to vote between. The winner will progress to the next round.

Q. When are scores tallied and shown?
A. Scores for each contestant will be updated after each poll closes and the new scores will be posted alongside the poll that will be posted the next day.

Q. What if two of my Main Picks pair off against each other in the first round?
A. Well, it was inevitable that this would happen during the tourney, and while it may hurt you, everyone else participating has the same odds against them for it to happen as well. It's what I want to call a "fundamental" flaw with tourneys.

Q. What do you mean by your note in the section about the prizes: "free to do as they please with their prizes"?
A. Just that. Once I give them the code for their prize, I don't care what they do with it so long as it's not illegal of course. I will have nothing to do with the prizes after I give them out.

Q. Oops, I want to make a change to my forecast, but I already submitted my entry form. What can I do?
A. If you make a mistake and wish to change your forecast, you must inform me at least 5 days before the deadline for entries (include your changes in a visible manner). If you do not do so before then, I will not allow any changes to be made. Also note that you may only change a maximum of 10 items. This is to prevent any cheating, and if you make more than 10 changes, I will only alter the first 10 items that were changed (also note that you can only send in corrections once). Once the tourney begins after March 28, 2010, and 5 days before the start, no changes can be made. To conclude, make your choices wisely so you only have to send one entry form.

Q. You look like you could use some help. Is there anything in particular that I can help with?
A. Yes, there are many things that you can assist with. The main thing is to make a banner or banners (600x200 max). It would be awesome to have a different banner for every-other thread. Another thing would be the images to represent the maps/gametypes as I will include an image from each and currently I only have the direct images from their respective threads (you can make images for any of the maps/gametypes at your leisure). The only thing I ask is that they have a max height of 450 pixels. The last thing you can help with is to make images with a transparent background that says "vs" in some cool font. I only request that it be 200x200. That's about it.

Q. What? You only want assistance with images? That's not what I was talking about.
A. Well, at the current moment, I don't believe I need assistance in any other area. If during the tourney I find myself needing assistance, I will make my request then. If you want to make dibs, you can place them now, but be sure you can keep your word.

Q. Where can I discuss things about this tourney while it is running?
A. You are free to discuss all you want in each poll's thread so long as it's not derogatory in nature. Alternatively, you may join the Tower of Babel Tourney group and discuss anything related to the tourney at your leisure with other contestants. Joining this group is not required, but it might be wise to do so. (No benefits nor advantages of any kind will be provided or given by joining the group)

Q. What's wise about joining the group then?
A. Only members on the site that are contestants (who have properly sent their entry form in) can join the group. This means you can basically discuss anything about the tourney, including your forecast for other contestants to see. You may also discuss your complaints and such with others without the location changing constantly (as will the poll threads). However, beyond that, there is nothing more to gain from joining the group.

Q. How do I know if my entry application was accepted and correct?
A. I'll PM you back with either a confirmation statement, or I'll return your application highlighting the areas you need to fix.

Q. I have a question that's not listed here, where can I ask?
A. You may ask in this thread, or if it's a question that you have later on (after the tourney starts), you can post it in the group or in the current poll's thread.

Always loved that map.
Really? Besides the aesthetics I always thought that Lush kinda lacked any real flow and was way too skewed towards the high ground.

Hmm... I didn't put the link in that thread anywhere... Read more here (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7787) (or read the FAQ).

However, like Null is saying, I've been mentioning this thing for the last month or two now, and I've been making these threads for I think approaching two weeks now.

That was a much more diplomatic way of putting it ;)
