Why the hell are you posting this when it's not tomorrow?

Easy answer: because it will be tomorrow if you wait a little bit. ;P The real reason is that I'm going to be installing some software tomorrow morning and I doubt I'll have the convenience to post this as well.

So, some of us are image gurus (I'm not), and others like to mess around with images casually, like I do. However, regardless of your skill level, you probably have a preferred image editing program. What is that program? I've listed some of the well known ones (to me) and gave options for others.

I personally prefer Paint.NET. Its interface is clean, the shortcuts are what I would expect them to be, and most important of all, it gets the job done. You may be able to do a million things in Photoshop, but all I want to do is simple work, but not Paint simple. GIMP has too many windows.

I've been using GIMP forever. Although I recently got Photoshop CS4, and its pretty awesome. There is a lot more I can do with it that i couldn't do with GIMP(or it would just take a lot longer). But I still prefer GIMP just because its free and Its simpler.

I used to use Paint for everything, but now lately I use it for Pixel art. I Use Paint.Net, I have been for 2-3 years now and I think that its a simple and easy program to use.

I really prefer GIMP simply because it's easier and I used it to begin with. While I'm not great at it, I'd use it a lot more if I had a brighter screen (SO SOON YESSS) and I will be getting one and will be getting better :D

How in the world is it simpler. Your screen is spammed with windows. If by simpler, you mean 'not as good', then yes. It's 'simpler'.

This is the only reason that I refuse to use GIMP, and why I resort to using online editors instead.
