I am currently working on another map so this one wont be the only one.
How to build a map for Battlefield:
Its not hard to build a map for my gametype Battlefield. There needs no bases, there is no real sides, and as of right now it only works with slayer so its pretty easy to build for. Let there be a note that Battlefield maps do not need to be a urban enviroment. I just built my first map that way just because its my first urban map.
A couple of things to have to make a good Battlefield map;
1. Have high and low ground.
2. Have corners and not to many open spaces with a lot of clear views
3. Dont use plasma or brute weapons they throw of gameplay and the weapon damage mechanics.
4. Have some choke points.
Thats really it. Somethings are better then others on certain maps and some other things that I didnt list could be used to make a map better. I didnt use any equipment in my map and I am currently working on a map that will hopefully have equipment. If you want to play around with equipment and see which ones work go right ahead and then tell me so I can add them to a list.
