Yes, I'm very late today on doing this as I have a guest over so I'll keep this short and to the point.

Do you feel nostalgia when playing old games? Like those for the N64, SNES, or Dreamcast?

I think only certain games give me this feeling as today and yesterday I've been playing Rainbow Six Las Vegas for the first time in over a year. I remembered old things that I experienced throughout that game and why I enjoyed it to begin with. Now to go back to F.E.A.R...

Any old game that was fun way back when, I still find fun today. I get the nostalgia feeling quite a lot from those games. I just played Halo CE's assault on the control room level... EPIC

I have that feeling when I play legend of Zelda: Ocarina or time/Majoras Mask and Dungeon Keeper Gold.

Rainbow Six Vegas? HELL YEAH. Best game ever, especially when explosives and the auto-shotty are restricted.

Anyways, I get nostalgia from just about anything. Just the fact of knowing that I'll never go back to the naive and free world that I once lived in kills me. Never have been a big fan of change, but hell, I always get over it.

So to answer the question, yes, I get nostalgic with pretty much any old game that I play.

If I play anything from Sega or the NES I'll get the feeling of nostalgia. But for a few games its the best. Like The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past or Sonic the Hedgehog (1991).

Almost all games do, but sometimes I don't. Like Pac-Man or something reaaaly old like that. I never played them when I can remember (before I was about 5).

I wasn't really introduced to video games until really late. My first console was the Gamecube. Of course, the Pokemon games give me a lot of nostalgia. Some of my friends are playing SoulSilver and HeartGold now and I LOVED Silver version. It almost makes me want to go out and buy a DS and SoulSilver just so I can have it.

Other games are Kirby Air Ride and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Sometimes when I don't have a decent book to read and want something relaxing to do before I go to sleep, I'll pull out my old Gameboy (yes, the really old giant grey one without a colour screen) and play one of my old Pokemon games that I used to play 11/12 years ago. That's always good for nostalgia.

When I go on fieldwork for 3+ weeks at a time, I'll take my old Xbox (no point risking the 360 for that kind of travel), and then play all my old games in the evenings. The original Splinter Cell, Halo CE, Brute Force, and Madden 2002 are all good ones. 4X4 Evo 2 is also a good one that always brings back that nostalgic feeling.
