The 5 player survival mode with AI characters looks amazing, not only that but the CTF with an AI character on each team should be an interesting twist on the old game type.

Looks like the same old GoW, too be honest. Probably not going to buy it, if even rent.

I'm looking forward to Horde, I think that will be pretty fun if we get a bunch of us online at once.

I have mixed feelings. The campaign should be amazing. BUT, if multiplayer is a horrible as in the first one, then I'll be selling it back within a month.

I agree: I'd only buy this game for the campaign, and that's hardly worth $60. The multiplayer failed, and people aren't going to lose their skill, so you still get matched up with people way better than you.

How do you know the game won't be worth it and a failure? It hasn't even come out yet. They have said in previous interviews they are fixing the host advantage and they have an improved rank game system where you can join with friends now and they match players up by skill.
Also, in pretty much any game on xbox live there is always going to be those people who play constantly and pwn everyone. Not getting a game in fear that people will be better than you is kind of foolish.

You must not know Ganye very well. I've gotten to the point of taking anything he says will suck as something completely amazing. He's the most pessimistic person I know.

Oh, that's not why I hate GoW (that is however, why I hate playing CS online :P). I hate GoW's online because it's just so.. bad. EXTREME host advantage and sooo many game-ruining glitches.

I never said this game was a failure: I said the mutliplayer failed. And host advantages aren't the only problem: The game has no way to determine skill, so you can be playing online for the first time and be paired up with a veteran. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about.
Null, fuck you.:(

You have a rank number rating, as you win it goes up, lose it goes down. Just like halo except it ranges in the thousands, which allows it to be more precise. And saying the game isn't worth the money is basically saying it fails as a product to attract your purchase.

I've never seen nor heard of a rank number rating in GoW, and I'm sure I'm wrong. I said the game wasn't worth the money because all it has going is the Singleplayer, for the reasons stated before. The first GoW had hardly any re playability, and I'm willing to bet this one'll be the same.

I personally probably played the multiplayer much longer than the single. I remember it only took me about 6 hours to play the whole single player but I was addicted to the multiplayer for sometime until the glitch and host problems became evident. In the end it just comes down to personal taste, some people enjoy playing online with large groups of friends while others prefer to be privately immersed in a structured story line. I'm not saying this game will be good or bad but I've learn from years of playing/testing games it's best to reserve judgment for the final product.
Also has anyone seen the double ended chainsaw staff one of the new AI characters carries? Looks pretty gruesome, I wonder if you can pick that up in the game...

Couldn't have said it any better. I completely agree.

Yeah, that thing is amazing! I hope you can pick it up.
I also read in an interview that you can play that new AI character in Multiplayer, but I doubt you get his chainsaw staff.
