I found this not too long ago and thought I would share it with the site. There are 4 videos that people have created to test the myths of Halo 3. Many are busted, although several are confirmed, but all videos are epic.

These are pretty good and informative.

I personally liked the one with the spike grenade that teleports with the bowm on disarm.

I've always been a fan of these, ever since the first one. Gotta love the Wraith one, though. I wonder if that's only on Valhalla?

Wow, I didn't know a lot of these. The one with the manslaughter medal on the ghost is surprising you'd think they would have discovered this when testing the game.

Yeah, I was surprised at that one. You would think Bungie would have fixed it by now.

I've know quite a few of these before hand. The neck of an elite cannot be shot and the teleporting stick were my favorites.

^^^ Episode 7. I didn't like it, I mean seriously. They are becoming WAY to commercial, and I watched 7 minutes for 4 myths... amazing.

yeah, episode 7 wasn't the best, there were 5 myths. But, they are getting endorsements by guys with recon. I've played with a couple of those guys, mostly II Flowers II. If you ever get a challenge from him on halo, don't take it. Some of them are members of forgehub, darktiest is really good friends with Insane54.

If you've ever watched Mythbusters on television, it's just about the same. For some of their myths, it takes nearly the whole episode for them to tell you it's impossible, and in the end it doesn't feel like the explanation was whole heartily put together. :mad: However, there are many good episodes, just like this Halo version, but I already knew all of these besides the Epitaph platform one.

Can you say commercial every eight minutes?

Yeah, but with the TV Version, they at least have some setup or other action in the wasted time, not just half an episode of people standing in a line.

Definately prefer the old style of H3 Mythbusters. The new one seems too much like they were trying to impress more than inform.

Definitely. Now they are trying to impress people because they're attracting attention from Bungie and a portion of the Halo community.

First off, it is host dependent.

Then you need to have equipment already and then go as slowly as you can towards the Overshield (or Active Camo), while holding RB. You'll just pick it up.

Sadly, you can't activate it like you can equipment. You'll drop it when either you die or when you pick up another equipment. But, if you pick up another equipment, you'll drop the power up and instantly pick it up.

This series is great. Although my personal favorite is BR'ing a rocket. I saw it and was like, "Why has this not happened to me yet!?" So I started a custom game and tried it. 43 deaths later I succeeded.
