I would get this game but one thing that really bothers me is the lack of pvp play.

I had heard about the armor a long time ago, but a better image of the sword would be nice, because that is kind of cool.

Nope, that picture was actually released by Lionhead when they were talking about the Limited Edition perks, I do believe.

Yeah, I think that's the first time they have shown it, at this demo. I'm sure it looks just like the energy sword but might have a handle that's parallel to the blade as appose to the halo's perpendicular style. The video wasn't great but you can clearly see he is wearing it on his back.

well i guess it is a good thing i got the limited edition. looks cool, when they said the spartan armour and sword was coming with it i wasnt expecting this spartan

I've never been much of a fable fan, but this looks cool. It does seem like a tribute to halo.

Yeah, I agree, ripoff may have been a little harsh. But tribute sounds much better, considering it is one of the best selling games in history.
