User Created Content is becoming a larger part of gaming very quickly, which is the reason that Forgery was born.
There are a lot of games coming out this holiday season, as most of you know. What we would like to know though, is what games you would like to see added into the Forgery experience?
Don't bother telling us you want to see Far Cry 2, because we all know that one is already here, but do tell us any other games you would like to see and don't worry about repeating other people, because that only affirms the nomination even more.
Games can be for any system
Games must involve user generated content
Games don't need to be new, but should still have a large fan base
It is not guaranteed that all games you suggest will be added
Have at it. What do you want to see?

It's not out til later next year... But I would like to see something involving Starcraft 2. I guarantee it will have an amazing custom map editor. In the old Starcraft there was a ton of 'use map settings' (as they called it). People would be able to create things such as ultimate frisbee, frogger, diablo, turret defense, etc... The editor is much more precise on PC and you can even do some easy sudo code with conditionals. This lets you create triggers on the map and create/control Ai characters. It went as far as letting you upload your own wav files into the map.

Starcraft 2 sounds good, I may get it. I hope I can host - I can in the original Starcraft, but I can't host in WC3 for some reason.

I'd recommend LittleBigPlanet for the PS3. That game is looking sweet.

I think Woozy would agree with you here, he got into the Beta (lucky bastard) and is loving it.
I have also been looking forward to this game. Count this a second on that vote.
Does anybody know when Starcraft 2 comes out?

Forgot Spore for the PC, it's a good game.

Yeah, it is pretty good, I personally think that Spore would be harder to do because there isn't any interactivity amongst players, it is literally just exchanging things you made. It is more of a "look what I made, it's cool" kind of thing, rather then "come play this with me, I just made a new game".

SC2 is coming out sometime between December 2008 and March 2009.

That's a pretty broad range of time, which usually isn't typical for the game market to have that wide of a range this close to a release.

Well the original release date was December 3rd. However, there are reports that it was pushed to February 9th... so yeah.

Lol. No joke, I stayed in front of the computer for 3 days refreshing my email waiting for my key (minus school and sleep, of course ;))
But yeah, after playing LittleBigPlanet I definitely vote for it to be on Forgery.
Although, there's no Halo-esque file shares or stuff like that so it would be harder to implement.

Ugh. That may be a problem for Starcraft 2 as well.

Before adding a game for only the PS3 I would suggest doing a pole on how many people have the PS3 or are planning on getting it.

Then how do you share what you make?

Since I don't really know much about this game at the moment, but I do have a good guess.
Halo 3 has a site dedicated to it that allows you to download content to Halo 3 directly. This makes it very easy for someone to just link the page for the download on Bungie.net which is what we do here.
Little Big Planet might not have a site dedicated to do this so your only option for download is from the console itself. It's not easy to link to a page only your console can access.

While we may not have the ability to download straight to the console from the computer, we can make known what maps we have available. This means that we don't have to search through the masses to find something good, we can be directed to one person's maps to look for that interesting one we saw in the screenshots on Forgery.

Not really but there would need to be some sort of server where we could host our maps online for download. I'm not really familiar with any but I believe there are some free file hosting places out there and I personally have a lot of free server space. All we would need to do is make it so users would be responsible for hosting their own content, then they could just link to it on the site with a description of the map and screen shots.
As for the release date I don't think blizzard has even mentioned a date. I think all the ones you're citing are outsider speculation. From their official site:
"When is the game coming out?
At this point, it's too early to provide an initial estimate on the release date. As with all Blizzard games, we will take as much time as needed to ensure the game is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible."
