Well, I'm sure your parents were asked at one point if they would support school uniforms at the school you attended. Otherwise, it may have been something never considered or was already in effect. However, did you have to wear one at some point, or throughout your schooling?

I've never had a school uniform at the district I attend. They always ask each year if the parents want to change this, but they generally vote no as a majority. I don't think I would quite like uniforms for school, but it would help for those mornings where you can't a shirt. XD

So, how about you?

You're missing an option for those who wear a uniform on certain days. :P

I have to wear an Army uniform on Thursdays unless it's a special occasion.

I do not have to wear a 'school' uniform of any sorts on any other day, though, so I'm putting down that I never had to wear on.
Pfft.. JROTC. ;P

That's no school uniform, but I probably should have had it in there somewhere.

Yeah we do. We used to have to wear Black jumper and trousers, now I'm in Sixth form it has to be Any shirt, Tie and Black trousers. Sometimes I wear my DCs to school.

No, but I wish we would have. It would be so nice not to have to think about what you have to wear and it would stop me from having to see girls dressed like skanks all day long.

I've only had to wear a uniform during high school. All it is a solid color polo and any pants/shorts except jeans, camo, and sports shorts. It's really not bad at all.

Unfortunately, to keep the answers simple (and to cover the majority of people), I use certain wordings, but the following would be an answer you qualify for:
"Yes, but they didn't have a uniform policy when I was first there."

Interpret its basic meaning of "I didn't have to wear a uniform for a time, but now I do."
