I've been noticing a steady increase in the number of new members in the last few days, and it has sparked my interest.

First off, welcome to XForgery, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Please tell us, how did you hear about XForgery, and what made you decide to join?

Either vote in the Poll or Post with your story, or do both.

Way back in the depths of february, when the group was first formed, i found it while looking at the boards in Scetch's forgery.

I followed Thomas's link to Forgery.5, then Halo3Forgery was born and that ended up here.

I joined Forgery back in January and then went to Forgery.5. I then go the RROD and for some reason I stopped forging for a while. I then found the link to here at Forgery.5 in August

ugh, how could you forget "I was an original Forgery member"?

I decided not to put that option in there because who defines what "original" is?
To be original did you need to join Forgery, Forgery.5, H3Fv1, H3Fv2??

The original forgery = founded by Ske7ch. Wouldn't that be common sense?

I'd moreso say atleast H3Fv1.

Because I'm so kewl, I'll admit that it was Kilq that started Forgery back into motion. I was really tempted to go ahead and move to Forgery.5, but I didn't have time before Kilq's opened up, so I jumped in, received admin (named myself Ninja.5, because it's that hawt) and then noticed that I didn't like B.net forums.

Moved you all over to some free forums software, then looked into buying some after our server went lame. :(

Since I don't feel like going into all of this, right now, I won't, but there is some sort of history to this group already.

Note to all you new guys (because you are streaming in quickly):
Please tell us how you heard about XForgery. This could be a good way to start interacting in the community, and you could also Introduce Yourself (http://xforgery.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34).

well, you see the diff between "original Forgery" and "H3Fv1" or even "forgery.5" is the "original" part to it. you know, like the first "Forgery"? :p

Well, I've been looking at the site for about 2 weeks but earlier this week i decided to make an account. I joined because it's not overly big like bnet or FH and has a family feel.

And you would be?......Really, who are you? :p

I first learned about this group back on B.net, but it was random "Forge" queries in their site search. I went through about fifty groups looking for an active one, and came across Forgery .5.

However, within two weeks of joining the group, it was mentioned that Thomaswuzhere (sp?) was making a new site for the group and I quickly signed up on that group. I then spent around two months as the guy who spoke, but you didn't know who he was. That changed after I began to become more active in the group and making somewhat interesting threads.

Then, yet again, Thomas mentioned he was making another site on which he hoped to expand the group to new areas. I registered as soon as I could and attempted to establish myself on this new site. So far, I've done both a good and bad job. Good = actively posting; bad = not being a very good staff member. :o (I really need to work on that part....)

I was asked personally by Tom to be assistant admin because of my efforts to try to reform Sketch's forgery clan (the effort failed horribly becuase no one was given admin status...) when he was just beginning to create the site, and that is where I stand in.
