Blog exclusive gameplay video!

You’ve likely seen a bunch of gameplay videos floating around lately, but we have one more for you that was created exclusively for the dev blog. “Not ANOTHER gameplay video!” ….it’s not! Watch it, and you’ll see why we are presenting to you this nice clip.

YouTube - Far Cry 2 - Mortar 1 / Player 0

You can watch the hi res version on uplay (http://uplay.uk.ubi.com/?video=ild3zjze).

You could have said that before I watched the whole video.

The first post is intended for you to be able to read exactly what the developers said, if we have comments afterward it will either be separated from the text or added via a following comment. I prefer to use and see the following comments as I read comments before watching videos. ;)

Null, remember when we had that discussion, and you said that Theater made Halo 3 unique? Guess what? Fuck you.;)

That is just speculation, they could have meant several things by that statement. Plus, we have to see how well it even works if it is there. You might have to record as you play, there might not be a "Go Back & Watch" feature.

And then you have to realize that Halo 3 was the first game to really do this, so Far Cry 2 is copying to stay in the race with a game that's already over a year old.

Just because somebody steals your idea for them self, doesn't make you any less unique for doing it in the first place.

Oh, I know. Doesn't make my points any less valid.

Yeah, what's your point?

It doesn't need a Theater mode to capture it like it was. They could've been playing while capturing through a capture card.

I understand that, but then what was the point in saying "The Following Footage Has Been Captured On Console"? Everyone would have assumed it was just a capture card, until they said that.

And, personally, "On Console" doesn't mean it was captured on a computer with a capture card to me.
