Meh on the personal statements. The main thing to look at are the values each option provides.

For myself, I think $80 is about the limit of what I'll carry on my person on an average day. Anymore and it seems a little much and it may not be all that safe (for the worrysome heart of mine... I have a heart?). Plus, if I'm going to make any major expenditures, I'll probably stick to a card that has more of a money trail.

I usually range from $0-$10, but I'll just carry around whatever I've got on me. I can recall a few times where that was well over $100. Credit cards are extremely handy, but I'm just not really a fan of them.

Because a bank card can be stolen and gives access to all of your money instead of carrying a small amount of your money so you don't lose it all in case you get mugged in any way.
