This is Oddball.

Well, since the new forums are up with the forum games I thought I should start it up again. I know most of you already know how to play, but for new members (that will join soon :)) the rules will be here.

The object of the game is to find a creative way to take the oddball from the poster above you.

Rules:
1. Don't go off-topic
2. No forms of hacking. It will be like you are playing regular oddball. (except for the fact that Denominator is the oddball)
3. You can however be able to switch between different maps
EXAMPLE
I shoot Thomas with rockets and take the oddball to Blackout
4. You can make your killings more realistic and/or funnier when you kill someone and wont be considered hacking. For example, instead of just beating down someone I crush their skull with my fist.
5. Halo 3 Beta rules apply ie. splattering people by running at high speeds or any other things you can think of.

You may sometimes call the oddball Denominator. There is nothing against it.

Those are the rules and you better follow them, or else :O

Ok, now lets start. I have the Oddball.

I smack Peeper in the back of the head and then take the ball laughing because there is only one spawn point and it is instant death.

I raise the "anti-idiot" firewall around you because the only way for there to be one spawnpoint on the map is if you hacked. I burn you inside it and take the ball out of your cold, lifeless hands. Then, because for some reason Grim happened to be on your team and you betrayed him for the ball, you have to wait 20 seconds for respawn. LOL

No, i didn't hack, I stopped teh h4x0r. :)

I use my airbending skills and make a sandstorm and while you are blinded and take the oddball and get in the AEGIS FATE in the sky.

my hands respan and somehow I can control them even though they aren't attached to me. They rip your balls off and take the ball from you as you squirm in pain, grasping your newly amputated wang. LOL

The game lags up and we have to start all over again (I don't even want to know about the post above me). We start the game up again on Foundry and the Denominator is at the top of the castle fort. We all now make a mad dash for it with swords.

I buy a bomb from COD4 and blow you all to hell with it. You all die and i take the ball.

I slash CostlyAxis as I sprint and jump to top of the castle and grab the ball.

I talk to Shishka and he thinks it's ridiculously funny that i did that to you. He unbans me and spawns me with a sniper rifle n the middle of the game...With Ghost of Lockout powers.

I didn't hack, i r just friends with Shishka :p.
Now, back to the game.

unfortunately I was right next to the ball when the hog fell on me. You didn't pick up the ball, you just got into the hog, and teleported to Blackout without realizing it (LOL you are oblivious) and I respawn on Foundry, taking the ball.

Sniper Bullets go through Deployable Covers, and therefore Deathsfriend killed you. Fail, Kenny.

I grab the ball and run through a shield door in a corner. 2 seconds later an infinitely exploding fusion coil wall spawns outside the walls and I am perfectly safe from all of you :)

Seriously, stop hacking. Infinitely exploding fusion coils means that you can't run through them in the first place...

They were set to 30 second spawn after game starts, and then were on the instant respawn thing. No hacks involved.

I spawn inside the walls again (LOL) and grab the ball. you die because a fusion coil falls on you.

Maybe some rules need to be added?

Omfg Ganye. Did you not read my entire post? Nothing says we can't jump between games. Most of the things we've done here can't be done in an Oddball game. My hands moving strangely could easily be lag, and as displayed by kenny, you can do things like that (kick in the shin) If I'm getting in trouble here, why not kenny too?

Yes, I understand but it's not fun if there are no rules. Remember how the old thread got out of hand because nearly everyone was hacking in some form? Grim wanted it to be cleaned out this time, so he made the rule. Follow the rules and you won't have this situation.

Anyone can give you that red image that's displayed under your name, it's not limited to mods/admins. If someone thinks your post is illegitimate, spam, rule-breaking, etc... they can give you bad rep and eventually you'll get a red image.

You can't jump inbetween games because it's not something you see in an oddball game in Halo 3, now is it? Kicking in the shins is creative and funny at best, he could've shot your shins out... Would it make you feel better if you had to say, less specifically, where you were going to attack somone?

Playing a normal game of oddball doesn't include your hands levitating and grabbing objects from other games. I haven't looked at many things besides your and Ganye's posts since I've first stepped in. I will be going over those posts soon.

It's really nice of you all to begin another flame-war(ish) the day that I'm cramming to get you the upgraded features for the update tomorrow. :eek:

While you are showing Ganye "The American Way of Kenny sex" (definently orgasmic ;) I sneak up behind you show you what an energy sword looks like through your chest. I then pick up my precious Denominator and go to Snowbound where I camp behind the shield doors :D

To elaborate on this situation I will edit my OP with a new rule...

Holding the Oddball causes a Waypoint to be over your head, so I walk up to you and blow your face off with a Magnum. The Denominator is now mine.

Ganye, desperate for the ball, undergoes a poorly thought out plan - He snipes you from across the map. His sniper only had one bullet and it was a body shot. I respawn next to you with a magnum, turn, shove my magnum in your mouth, and pull the trigger. You die and I take the ball.

I respawn near you with a magnum, turn, and start pumping bullets into you, backing away as I go so you can't melee me with the ball. when I take out your shields, I unexpectedly take a step forward, shove the magnum into your mouth, and pump a bullet into the back of your throat. Blood sprays from the back of your neck and you die. I take the ball.

I take a plasma pistol and fill it up to overload then I dump the overheated plasma down your throat which instantly liquefies your insides. I then take the ball and hide in a time warp

I hide a cookie somewhere in the map. Death smells the cookie, drops the oddball, and embarks on a quest to find the hidden cookie. As soon as Death leaves I take the oddball.
