lol good luck with that. While at school i try to distance myself from video games as much as possible, so i don't look like a "nerd"...even though even the "jocks" play them, if you talk about them openly at my school you get labeled very quickly.

Yeah, so even my black friend (not being racist, it's just not too common to find what's to follow) and I get into rather large discussions about even classic video games like Donkey Kong. Just yesterday, after school, there was a long discussion about the Star Wars movies, some people were even quoting some stuff... and one of them is even going to the marine corps after school (he's a certified drill instructor, so he's serious about that).

I'm not afraid of who I am, neither should you. Labels don't do anything unless you let them.

I've got one even better. One of the guys I graduated with is over 7ft tall, and he is married to somebody under 5ft tall. It's insanely funny to watch them hug. When they walk together, he leans over and she walks on her tippy toes so they can hear each other talk.

Actually, no. But maybe that's because I'm attracted to taller girls. My girlfriend is the same height as me until she puts on high heels. Then she's got a couple of inches on me.

Sucks that you let that change you, for me, I'm myself and I intend to keep it that way. If someone were to label me, though, it'd probably be "gamer" "nerd" or "geek" just because I know more about computers the most of the staff, play video games, and have good grades. I have some seniors in my statistics class that say things like "Hey smart kid! How do you do...?" to get my attention, it doesn't bother me in the least and I keep to myself if they don't like me.

Oh yeah, can't forget, weren't you gloating on the school thread that you were a Lieutenant in JROTC? How does that not give you a label instantly?
