Actually the republican party argued it down so Palin only has to do a Q&A session with Biden because they know she couldn't handle it. Basically they are going to ask each of them rehearsed questions and they answer one at a time.

There is even a group of conservatives who are petitioning her to drop out of the race (http://www.236.com/news/2008/09/26/sarah_do_not_listen_to_those_b_9168.php), because McCain is already in trouble after the debate and she is only making matters worse.

Maybe, I think it was a joke about that fact that one of her kids is named 'Trig' as in trigonometry.

Yeah, she kind of went out on a limb with most of them: Bristol. Piper. Track. Willow. Trig.
