This is a video of resonanting sound creating patterns in rice. It's pretty amazing, I saw something vaguely related to the Da Vinci Code, and they were talking about the odd carvings in Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. These carvings are all over the roof, and seem to have the same shape as the patterns you see when sand gets vibrated on a piece of glass or similar at a certain frequency. Amazingly enough some guy came along and transcribed it all, and he believes it is the notes for some lost Medieval hymn. Interestingly, it incorporates the Devil's Chord.

I think another name for them is Chlandi patterns.
