Alright. After reading the posts, I had to add my two cents to this.

Here's my idea for games in order of what I think you should get:

1)L4D2
2)Borderlands
3)MW2
4)Halo Wars
5)The Orange Box(it's actually only 20 bucks)

Borderlands is great.
Get Assassins Creed 2 only if you've played 1 first. If you haven't rent it or borrow it from a friend. Then get AC2. It's really good.
