I can't guarantee that I'm going to get it, I want it, I'm anticipating it, but I cannot guarantee that I'll get it.

If I do get it, though, it'll be for the 360 or PC... more then likely the 360, though.

I don't know if I should get it for the 360 or the PC. I know I would rather play it on the 360, but map editing will probably be easier on the PC. I would also probably be able to play more on the PC because my brother is always on the(my) 360.

Nope.. I believe they ditched the whole story of the first one to create a new setting. In fact, I wouldn't call it a sequel as much as a complete re-imagining (with tons of improvements, of course).

im torn on a three way of which games to get..

Im Definatly getting Fable 2. hands down.
also between Far Cry 2 and Fall Out 3.. i think im going to wait and see for a week until i get comments on both and which to get..
most likely far cry due to fallout being single player.. and i will have fable 2 for that.
but either way its going to break my bank..

also, anybody notice that all these games start with "Fa" ...kinda odd

Thinking about it. I am probably going to get it for the PC. Mainly because I don't feel like sharing an xbox with my brother who will be playing Fable II 24/7 so yeah.

Although, the deciding factor would be if I could still share maps I made on the PC for players on the xbox.

Sharing maps cross platform is not supported. Which is the exact reason we have a separate map forum for each one.

I plan to get the game around its release time. I'm not too sure about getting it the day it comes out though since getting games isn't a big dedication of mine. However, I do plan to buy it for my Playstation 3 because it's my PS3's turn to get a new game.

It does? The gameplay videos show Far Cry 2 playing quite well and on par (at the very least) with most other current FPS. What part of the gameplay "sucks"?

If you're basing your opinion from the first game (I didn't own the first one) then you could be completely mistaken.

Yeah, I thought about getting it for the PS3. But I know most of you guys were going to get it for the 360, since that is the only system some of you guys have.

Plus, the PS3 has had a lot of issues with new games locking up the system, and I'd rather not take the chance.

Issues? Oblivion is the only game that has frozen on me, but that's my fault, but I've never heard of this issue. Is it listed as a bug on their site?

There's been several games that have done it, but I can't remember off the top of my head. They always fix it within the first week or so, but lots of people have to send in their PS3s to get them fixed.

I keep searching for information to back you up, but all of it is against your statement. Almost unanimously does every site brought in the search have an article indicating a failure rate of less than one percent or three percent.

Can I see your source on this?

I guess I got confused from watching all of the videos displaying the map editor with the 360's limit being at 30,000, but I guess they increased it in the final version.

I don't think anybody is really qualified to answer that here, I haven't heard of anybody getting the PC version.

But, from what I've read in the Official FC2 Forum, the PC version has had a few issues with server connections, SecuROM validation and whatnot that have screwed people over. Although, the PC version has a more verbose Map Editor then the console versions.
