3 Games To Buy Please Help

Hey guys so Best Buy in Canada is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on games and I plan on going out to buy games. Right now the three games I want to buy are MW2, AC2, and L4D2.

I was just wondering if you guys think I should get some other games because those ones aren't so great. I'm getting MW2 no matter what but the other two are my first choices unless someone convinces me otherwise. Hopefully I can get some feedback in less than an hour. If not just use this thread for discussion of the years best games or something. Games for Xbox 360 btw. Not like PC or anything (@aMoeba)

You have a pretty good list there, and the only suggestion I would have is to look into Dragon Age: Origins if you're into RPGs. I've been hearing good things about it though nothing specific as to what is so good about it.

Edit: Borderlands seems to be well talked about as well for how fun it is. Still, no specifics...

Ya those 2 I'm pretty sure about but AC2 has no multiplayer. I loved AC1. I could just run around on rooftops accomplishing nothing for hours. But I think I might be better off getting something else. My friend wants me to get Borderlands. But I think L4D2, MW2, and AC2 are still my choices.

Edit: Ya Cost I was also thinking about Dragon Age but since I haven't played it I really don't want to buy it and then not like it. But the game definitely looks good. I am in to RPG's but idk about the sword thing. Oblivion was good but I can't say I liked it as much as Fallout 3. But I think I might wait till Christmas and see if my parents will get me Dragon Age.

Borderlands is probably not a bad choice either. Personally, I thought the first Assassin's Creed was repetitive as hell....

Ya see I loved it. I thought it was sorta repetitive but I still loved it. But this one definitely looks like it has improved. Looks way less repetitive and has a lot more stuff to do especially with the money system.

Only get Borderlands if you have people to play it with. With 4 people, it's one of the most fun games ever, but by yourself it can get old very fast.

AC2 is alright. I guess if you liked the first one (I didn't) then you'd probably like the second one. I'll definately give it credit for it's storyline, but gameplay is "meh."

L4D2 is alot like Borderlands. 4 people, amazing game, by yourself, it gets boring.

I only played DA for a little, but what I played wasn't very good (xbox 360). It's clearly a game made for PC's. Don't bother if you're getting it for xbox.

Well, I have only played L4D2 out of those, and it is epic. Also, Borderlands is amazing!!! Talk to Soren515, he has played all three you said, and Borderlands.

L4D2 is great. Great single player and multiplayer if you can find decent teammates. Me and Zack couldn't last night/this morning.

A2 is awesome. There is no other word to describe it. I am a little bias though because A. I loved the original and B. I have been to Italy so it brings back good memories. If you are worried about the flaws of the first game they fixed them and added more content,

Borderlands is one of my favorite games of all time. Great combat. Great art style and everything about the game is fun. What other game do you know that calls there enemies. Badmuatha Brutes Or Psycotic Little Midgets? Great game with great weapons.

Go with MW2 and L4D2 as your two main choices. Idk about AC1, as I never got into that game. If you haven't played Mass Effect, Dead Space or Red Faction: Guerilla, go with one of those.

I would not recommend getting those listed Boston. They either have no, or dead, multiplayers. They are good games, but I would get a more popular or better game instead.

Well I just got back and I didn't buy anything. They were out of L4D2, and Borderlands so I decided to get Episodes from Liberty City for GTA. But then I thought about how I really only wanted Ballad of Gay Tony, and Lost and Damned was a waste so I had MW2, AC2, and GTA: EFLC. But then I put em back and decided to wait till christmas. I don't have an Xbox to play them anyways so it doesn't make a difference to me.

umm its a kinda old game but if you dont have FallOut 3, there's a new "Game of The Year Edition" with all the extra DLC.

N64 had some of the best games EVER! Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Super Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Snap, 1080 Snowboarding, Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2(idk if it was pro skater. There was so many Tony Hawk games back then), Donkey Kong 64, and Goldeneye. Those are just some I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are other people here that would agree that N64 had AMAZING games.

Modern Warfare, no questions asked. Left for dead 2 if your interested in it, I have heard its good, so I guess thats a choice. I guess for a third choice you could go with Borderlands.
