Halo Hide & Seek, Part I Results

The first installment of Halo Hide & Seek got a lot of positive feedback. It was a good, original idea and brought something new to the table. Sadly, that didn't equate to people actually participating in the event.

Luckily, one individual had the gumption to go out there, find every hiding spot and work to get there. Give a big congratulations to mista tipsta (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=318)! And because he was the only one to find each location, I am awarding him the points for all 3 difficulties, for all 3 places, totaling 75 Points!


To highlight his achievement and also tell the rest of your where the locations were, here are his screenshots along with some description.

Easy

Level: ODST Campaign, Tayari Plaza
Location: Side room shortly after beginning of level, near where you fight the Hunters.


Heroic

Level: ODST Campaign, Tayari Plaza
Location: By large group of Jackals, half-way through level. Need to grenade jump off of Jackal Sniper Platform to ledge.

Legendary

Level: ODST Campaign, Oni Alpha Site
Location: Very beginning of the level where you blow up the bridge. Don't blow up the bridge, and instead turn around to kill everything (including 4 Wraiths). Once you've done that, jump up to the ledge using debris or grenades. Almost needs to be completed on Easy.



To the rest of you that PM'd me with the locations but didn't actually go get pictures, and you know who you are, I'm disappointed in your lack of effort.

Now, I know that everybody couldn't participate this time around, because not everybody had ODST. My question is, would more people participate when Halo 3 hiding spots were used? If not, the lack of participation leads me to believe that this event should not be continued. Please respond below, not only to congratulate mista tipsta, but also to show your support for the event itself, otherwise you may not see it again.

The reason I didn't look for them is because I thought 3 people would have found them by the time I had a chance to look. I guess I was wrong.

hm.. wow. i feel that it should be continued! Not just because i won. it was nice to have a reason to go back and play the game in search of these locations. I support the continuation of this event 100%!

The second i saw the legendary picture (not just sayin' this) I thought-Oni Alpha Site at the beginning, although i was lazy and never went to go get the snap-to busy onwing on lost platoon-normal-solo-to get 1MILLION POINTS!

I gave up cause I saw Tipsta had all three before I even came home from school to know the event started.
If it gets continued I say it should start later in the day.
