XFFF: Users choice Poll for XFFF VII

Welcome to a new XFFF tradition where you the players get to pick the firefight map for a future XFFF event!

Bungie has always been infatuated with the number seven. They release a special playlist on the 7th of each month, one of their logos is the seventh column, and "Bungie" day is celebrated on the 7th day of the 7th month. To keep in tradition with Bungie and the number seven, XFFF is letting our XF members pick a firefight map for every XFFF event that happens to be on a multiple of seven. XFFF VII will be the first user's choice event and it's just around the corner.

With that being said, feel free to vote on which firefight map you want to play for XFFF VII. The only two maps that are not on the list is "Windward" and "Alpha Site", since they are the maps for XFFF VI and XFFF VIII respectfully. Other than that, every other firefight map is available for you to vote.

This poll will last until next monday, until then may the best map win!

You do realize that before this event happens we'll have played six maps, right? That eliminates all but two choices, not really much of a community vote then.....

Eh.. I guess. But obviously most people will vote for Lost Platoon because it's their favorite. But they don't even participate.. I expect at least 7 non-my team to play then.

You're kind of an asshole. People are allowed to vote, and obviously they are going to vote for their favorite, so what? I, like other people, have intended on participating before and haven't had the chance, if there's a chance that you might miss playing does that mean you shouldn't vote? No, it doesn't. You could end up in the hospital, have forgotten about a prior appointment, etc.

Nowhere in the rules for the vote does it say that you even have to participate to vote. Who cares? The Community picks it, deal with it. Stop being such a jackass loser and if you don't like how things are being run, then don't participate because you are just supporting something you don't agree with, which is hypocritical.

Null, I voted for my favorite map even though I knew I had no chance to win. But I voted for my favorite. I'm not mad at people for voting for Lost Platoon because they love it, I'm mad at them for voting and not even considering participating. I know that out of the 22 voters so far that about 15-18 have thought about joining this weeks and some have already participated in the past but I bet that at least 4 or 5 people voted because they saw "favorite ODST map" and didn't bother to check what it was for.

I don't see how anything you said would solve this issue. Removing a map that might have won anyway from the people who are going to participate isn't fixing the issue at all. In fact, there's really no way to fix the issue, because we can't know who will participate until the event comes and goes.

If the title and description of the thread don't make people stop, nothing else is going to. So, we all have to deal with it.
