well, i few days ago, i qiut the huge clan known as MGC, some have heard about, most have not (its only 800 members) i did this beacuse it was not very active, so i made my clan, Team Dragons, and i am the clans official Darkdragon/Founder, my 2 closest friends are the co-founders. and thanks to thomas, i have found the perfect hoster, and with this awsome advice, i am making my site. right now, it is at http://teamdragons.ipbfree.com/index.php

but once i get it ready, i am going to pay for a domain,
but i thank all members here who helped me find the perfect site for it

I really recommend making at least some of the forums visible while you're a guest to the board otherwise it doesn't appeal to anyone since they don't know what's going on.

You can search google for custom styles from other people or you could learn how to code and build them yourself (the first is the best way to do it, though). Sites with only a default style can be seen as 'amateur' and are going to have to have something really big to get a lot of members.

Go mess around in that ACP (admin control panel) and you'll find some really cool features, but I'd stay away from a 'shop' feature because it'll introduce spam for people to buy things to boost their account.

hmmmm, well, im going to promote special shop mods to check out members that have 1 of 2 things:
and extremely high point count
or
an extremely high point amount gained that day,
but i will have to see...
oh well, only time will tell

oh, and i only have lock/unlock items right now, but ille see if i can find a way to lock it beyond the cookies power...
