View Full Version : [Announcement] Expect Downtime Friday, September 5th

As sad as it is, we're letting you all know that we're going to be updating a few things server-side and we cannot guarantee that the boards are going to be online at all times on Friday.

That also being said, we'll be making a backup before we do anything so if you happen to log on Friday after 4 PM EDT then you might lose any post(s) that you make then.

Over this weekend, we will be releasing the first September update with a further explanation as to what we did while the site was down.



Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is a change that has to be done and the sooner, the better.

That's right when I get to my bedroom to log on. :(
Oh well, at least I'll know why I get an error message, and it won't be too painful to not be able to log on for a little while.

I figured it may be during the day. Well, I'll probably play XBL or go on Bungie for a while until it gets updated.

i hope you guys add a feature of where at the bottom of every thread, there is a list of who is viewing that thread at that time, that was at forgehub, and it just really helped you know what was going on, and expect who was posting next, and my favorite, it let you know if people were actually looking at your maps... but thats fine if you don't... but it would be awesome.

Well I think they are trying to stay away from ideas when the reason is "ForgeHub has it". Some people think H3F is a copycat site and they probably do not want to add to that.

yah, well my idea wasnt just because forgehub had it, i really do think it contributes to the site, but if you guys don't feel comfortable with it, its fine by me, go ahead, its your site, and i respect that.

Go to where you can see all the forum stats. If you still can't find it, just press Ctrl+F and type Currently.

If it required an add-on then I wasn't going to do it, but luckily it's something that's built into the boards so I enabled it.

It's a lot easier/faster to get suggestions like this filled out if you make a thread in the suggestions section of the board. ;)
