As a moderator here at Halo 3 Forgery, I want your experience to be as enjoyable as possible for you and all our other guests. To help me and the rest of the staff accomplish this goal, please follow the following rules:
General Forum Usage: (applies to all forums)
Bumping: The forums are a place for the people of Forgery to have their say in what’s going on, and to share their creations with the world. As is such, we request that the bumping of threads be kept at a minimum. Bumping is the process of posting a message with the sole purpose of sending a thread to the top of the forum list. To avoid the chance of mass bumping, we request that if you want to bring one of your threads back to the top, you only do it once a day. Excessive bumping or double posting will result in the removal of your thread, or a suspension.
Images: To reduce clutter throughout the forums, we request that the number of embedded images in a post be kept at 5. Any additional images should be posted using hyperlinks.
Censor Bypassing: Sensor bypassing of any kind will not be tolerated. If you feel the need to insult someone, you should simply state the problem and try to find a solution. No cussing involved.
Advertising: Any advertisement outside of the “Advertising” forum will be immediately deleted, no questions asked.
Responding to Threads: When responding to a thread, try to be positive. Do not go into another user’s thread with the intent to put them down.
File Submission Forums: (only applies to forums in which files are submitted)
Using the forms: The forms used to submit content to the forums are there to help you submit a file, and to help others understand what you are presenting.
Advertising: Using another user’s thread to promote your own is strictly prohibited. (Example: “Hey that’s really cool. Check out my map/ vid/ etc.”) Those failing to comply with this rule will have their accounts suspended. This does not include Advertisements in a user’s personal signature.
