This game truely is amazing. I hope they have a nice long campaign, and hopefully some of those challenges are replayable for a while. I love picking off enemies one by one and keeping their status calm. The combat works extremely well, much better than learning combos and crap and the glide feature seems so amazing. I want to use it over longer distances. I hope this game doesn't dissapoint, and Im deciding to get this before modern warefare 2 or after it for christmas. I'll see the review...

I'm glad i pre-ordered it. I hope they have a very big campaign but by the looks of it you've already taken out Zzas in the demo and i think your about to fight Bane but idk if it is him. I think the graphics are the best in the world so far and yep i hope you get a nice big open area so you can glide farther.

no, you've only taken out one "villian" guy. The guy at the end is more like a henchman boss of the Jokers. Bane has tubes into his back. And Im not sure whether that is in the beggining, because in a preview, it say you "unlock" inverted the ability to hang/inverted takedowns. Hopefully tehre are more than just 5 villians. Also, the graphics are great, and so are the physics, I think, but when you take out the last guy in an area, and the camera zooms in, the punchs/hits look wierd.

Yeah i agree but from the looks of all the trailers it makes you belive you fight Bane more than once in a different attire each time so i was wondering if this may be the first fight with Bane.

This is one of the few games based on a comic that I'm looking in to. If I do get it (would play demo first), it would be for the PS3 though (Joker :D). From the videos that I've seen of the game, it looks pretty good, but playing the demo would help my decision.

I stand by my desicion to buy a 360 and i will never buy a PS3 even if you can go The Joker in a campaign.

I dont like batman much but i played the demo and it was pretty cool, I really wanted to fight that big guy at the end. I would get the guys at terrified, its funny they like cry and jump everywhere, then i just fly and kick them in the face. Awesome game.

I have been playing the demo since it came out and I have to say Im thrilled to play the full game. From what I can tell there are eight gadgets total and an exp system that levels you up giving you access to new abilities. The inverted take downs are brilliant at making everyone shit themselves. Oooh and the grates are awesome.

Should I remind everyone that a few months after the 360 release of Soul Calibur IV, Darth Vader became an available player via downloadable content and I believe it was the same for bringing Yoda to the PS3. So I'm pretty sure the 360 version will get their Joker (although it will cost points).

Isn't the dude at the end of the demo Killer Croc cause I am pretty sure in this game Killer Croc is huge. But the demo is really fun. I love the combat. Even though it is just button mashing it feels like it isn't because the fighting is and combat is so well executed with the slow motion and the directional moves. It just flows perfectly. Probably why it is called "FreeFlow Combat" ;P
But as fun as this game was I don't know if it is worth the buy without Mulitplayer.

That would be awesome having Arkham Asylum Multiplayer!! I don't think it is KillerCroc cuz he is full of scales and he doesn't have a crippled shoulder like that dude.

The guy at the end of the demo is a mutated prisoner. Bane has tubes a mask and no spines. While killer croc is green has HUGE teeth and scales.

You can't play as the Joker in the campaign, you can only play as him in a single Challenge. At least, thats what I heard...
And guys, you don't see Killer Croc or Bane in the demo AT ALL. Go to gametrailers.com and search the game. You'll find some special videos of Bane and there might be one of Croc. Also, if you watch the video at the end, Im pretty sure you see both of them. And in other videos, you can see Batman fighting the mutaded guy in different scenarios.
Last thing. Has anyone noticed that Batman just makes his victums unconsious? Their heartrate is still at 30. I wonder if its the same for the bosses, and if that would allow you to fight teh same boss multiple times in different scenarios, requiring different tactics.

Yes... Batman doesn't kill or use firearms. If you've saw Batman: The Dark Knight you'lll notice he has multiple chances to kill the Joker and the Joker tempts him to do so but he doesn't.

Dude were talking about the game. In Arkham Asylum he does kill people. When your in detective mode you can check for deceased or unconcious.

No he doesn't, even in the game. Unconcious is what Batman did to his enemies. If they are dead, that is what the henchmen did to the guards. At least, Im pretty sure because those dead guys are there before Batman gets to the scene.

If the Batman killed enemies fans would eat the devs alive; everyone knows Batsy doesn't kill people.

I just saw a Review on IGN for this and it apparently is amazing. I will definitely hae to rent this one and see if it is worth the buy. Or borrow from a friend. Whatever happens. But it looks really cool and seems to have some pretty awesome features. The Reviewer calls it "The Best Comic Book Game Ever".
Oh and about the Joker. Basically you can play the Joker in the Batman Challenge Maps. Not the Campaign and there is no new maps. Just a different player with different moves.
More info about the Joker here (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/101/1017156p1.html)

I've only saw the Dark Knight but i hear good things from begins. I now want to watch the first one :(

Yeah watch the first one. Not as good as the Dark Knight, but Begins is just as good. You know how in the Dark Knight, it has a lot of bluish scenes? Like there's a blue filter over a lot of the scenes? In Begins it is like a dark red or something. Different styles of filming haha Idk what I'm trying to say but yeah Begins is good.

Ok, well. THIS GAME IS FUCKING AMAZING. At least in my opinion. I shall do a tiny review of the demo(even thought the game is out.)
First off, I want this game more than I want ODST, i'm not kidding. However because everyone is getting it and I run an event similar to the Weekend of Win here, I'm going to need ODST crucially. So I did some research after playing the demo, figured out that the voice actors in this game are the same as Batman: The Animated Series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_The_Animated_Series) including Mark Hamill as The Joker and since that show was the best Batman series and one of my favorite childhood shows and seeing them cuss and be more mature just makes the cutscenes even more enjoyable than the cartoon. Now for gameplay I love the x-ray visor. Using that and the Batarang really makes you feel like you really are The Dark Night. And the controls are nearly perfect(though it took me some getting used to from FPS'). One featurethat this game uses all the time that I haven't seen in any other game i've played(though there are probably some that have it, I get the feeling ODST might) is the use of extreme stealthyness. Seriously, if you don't Batarang yourself up after downing a foe, most likely you will die if the rest have guns. I like that alot, as well as the action when you are in hand to hand combat the action looks stunning, breathtaking even. Some other things I randomly like:
-INVERTED TAKEDOWNS, srsly kickass.
-Taking out enemies silently or when your behind them and they turn around and you smack the shit out of them.
The only con I see is that opening vents seem to be annoying. And it seems there are alot and the main route of travel between rooms.
5/5 for now, when I get the full game I may do a better review...anyways thats my opinion on it.

Well you can kinda, You need to buy an upgrade called 'Inverted Takedown' and when your on a gargolye you press 'B' and you will hang down. If someone walks underneath you you can press a button and they will be dragged up without a noise.
