Intro

Have you ever wanted to get on the staff here but were unsure how? It is extremely difficult to make a feature worthy map, and some people can’t pay to get the supporter rank. Well here is your chance to prove yourself and earn that coveted colored rank.

So Why Now?

The review team is understaffed. We do have a lot of reviews going up, you see new ones posted everyday, but we would like to pump out a few more. That is where you come in. The Review Team is issuing a call for applications. We have a couple but we would like the best and most dedicated members to become part of the team. So if you fit those specifications please sign up.

So What’s the Catch?

The position has a few requirements, including responsibility and an advanced knowledge of the Halo forging system. No need to explain everything to us here though, there is an application thread which can be found at the bottom of the page.

So please, help us out and, in turn, earn some privileges. The review team is given the same perks as the supporters do, but we have to work for it. You are required to review at least 2 maps a week so keep that in mind. And just in case you missed it here is the link to the application thread. Anyway, send in your applications even if you are new to the site. If its good enough you will get accepted. Just please tell the truth in your application. Lying has removed several people from consideration.

I would like to apply for this, and although I think I would excel in the racetracks department for reviewing, I feel that sharpshooter does a decent job and I am more interested in creating videos for the site :)

I would love to apply as well, but with my RROD I will be unable to submit a proper application or meet the 2 maps per week. However I do feel that this would be a great job for me... :). Maybe one day in the future when I'm not bogging myself down with things like Forging Theories and Contracts... lol.

yep I did one for ravinia and I have played that enough to know it. Same with most of the maps. As long as I have actually played it.

Anyways, we are encouraging all of you who are interested, to send in an application. What's the worst that could happen? I remember when I was first chosen, I was nervous at first because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to have much time for it, but it really isn't as hard as some may think. I am glad that I didn't turn down the job back when Denominator asked me, and again, I want to encourage all of those who are interested but hesitant to join, to send in an application.

Well we've gotten a couple of reviews and from some pretty dedicated members. The decision wont be easy but keep sending in your apps guys. If your good enough you will get chosen. The more active you are helps our decision a lot too!

Well... I applied. I believe I have what it takes to get the position, and since I'm playing customs on Halo ALL THE TIME I didn't see a reason why I shouldn't have applied. Good luck to the rest of the applicants.

im pretty sure ill be able to do two reviews per week but when school starts that will be a little harder.

I'm up to about 15 applicants now. Don't let that deter you from sending in an application though, I keep all of the applications on file and when I need someone new in the future I consider everyone that has ever applied.

We're looking to fill 1, possibly 2 positions right now. Expect to see new Review Team members over the weekend, and if you don't get in this time, don't fret. I still have your application and I will consider you again in the next one.

You've also probably noticed how active all the other Review Team members are in this. The Review Team works as a team, like the title implies, and they have nearly as much say in who gets the position as I do.

So keep sending in applications, and look for a couple of new blue guys by the end of the weekend.

Most people figure it out based on who is on the team now, but for official purposes, Bartoge, Master Debayter, and Sage were all added to the Review Team.
