Battle Sticks
Tired of being out no-scoped and consistently lasered on your favorite racetracks? Battle Sticks is the game for you, requiring a wholly different kind of skill!
Battle sticks is a game variant I created after thinking about how to effectively stick grenades into racetracks, and after hearing about several failed attempts to do so. I believe that I have found the cure.
Specifics:
Normal Battle Tracks settings - I.E. VIP driver; non-VIP gunner; influence radius stops non-VIP from driving and gives them damage; everything is the same as Battle Tracks except for a few key things
Magnum starts. This is to provide an alternative for people who have zero mine-laying/sticking capability and a little bit of long range firing power.
Regenerating grenades while in the influence radius. However, your grenades will only regenerate 15 seconds after you spawn.
During testing I found that the best maps for the gametype are either in the skybubble or the type of racetrack with plenty of intertwining turns. I recommend maps like Synthesis, Triton's Twist, Rising Sands (ForgeHub), and Typhoon. Additionally, it's probably not a good idea to do this gametype with a full party.

The 15 second safe zone usually disappears right after you leave the mongoose garage, resulting in usually at least one team getting stuck.

The best part of this gametype is when you get a sticky from a different portion of the map.

Lap point denied!

Spike grenades are especially effective as landmines, and plasma grenades are good for long distances.

Whether or not you succeed when you pass is basically left entirely up to your gunner.
Some of my future plans for this gametype include combining them with other battle tracks variants like battle snipes and raising health to emphasize the use of the grenades. Suggestions would be appreciated.
