Split Second

I don't know if you guys have heard about this game yet but it looks pretty good. Made buy Disney and brought to you by the people that made Pure, this game is all about making the split second decisions. The game is a racing game and sort of a twist off of Burnout. What you do is race against other people and rack up points by either drifting or crashing people until you reach a certain level of points. Once you reach this level you get the option to trigger something which will affect the race and the map geometry. These range from planes falling on the track to water towers falling and the studio has promised that their will be explosions throughout the entire race so even on the last lap you will be able to affect the race which seems cool.
What has me interested in this game is that you have the ability to change the race and that is awesome.

The game will be coming out next year so we have a long wait but I think they are doing something good.

Interesting concept, but it's still your basic "Dodge shit when it goes down" racer. Could be cool, but DISNEY? Wtf...

True, but Pure was a pretty good game and I think this game could have some potential.

I have seen this as well. It looks intense. It looks like it will be good but I think that the thing that will make this game so great will be its physics. If cars busted up and have great crash physics like Dirt or Motor Storm this will be awesome. But if the cars just sorta crash and don't react to the crash it won't be that amazing. But it still looks cool

Yeah, in the game play it doesn't look like the cars have damage but I am hoping that it will change since they are pretty early in production.
