Have you ever been waiting for a game to come out for a long time, and then when you finally get to play you realize you just wasted your money?
The most disappointing game I have ever played was Perfect Dark Zero. That game was going to be released for the game cube, but it got canceled. Then they finally made it for the 360, but it was horrible! I bought my 360 just for that game . . .

Black Site: Area 51. I really should have looked up that game before buying it. Playing made me worried my PS3 had broke since the visuals were terrible, everyone carried around the same gun practically, and the AI wasn't so great either. The game isn't even worth a rent.
That's about the only bad game I've gotten within the past few months. Of course, it was also the only game I ever skipped my research process on, and the last.

Monster Madness -- Beat the whole game in 6 hours. On single player. Beat the game with a friend in 4 hours. Of course, I was dumb enough to pay 60$ for it.
Army of Two -- While playing through the game on coop is a blast, the online and singleplayer are both very, very bad.
Bioshock -- Got bored halfway through my first my first playthough, never bothered finishing it before I sold it back. While the story is original and all, the gameplay is near broken and not fun at all. Story is less then half the game, therefor 25$ or less is reasonable. Also, GotY, wtf are those people on?
Gears of War -- the single player/coop aspect of the game was perfect, but lets all be honest here, the multiplayer was complete and utter garbage // not worth the full 60$ pricetag
There's been more, don't remember atm.

I agree that this game was great in Coop, which is why I bought it. I have had no bad experiences with this game, probably because I've never played Single Player nor Online.

You are the first person I've heard say anything bad about this game. I've had people practically begging me to buy it because they loved it so much.

Agreed. I also think I had bad experiences with the MP because I got the game WAY after release, so the only people left playing it were the hardcore fanatics. Which usually means that I get my *** handed to me.

Two Worlds - It's fun for the first few hours: Then you get some good armor, weapons and a decent level and start killing stuff in a few hits. Then by level ~30 you can wipe out an entire city in 20 minutes and resurrect the guards. The storyline really isn't that original: Get five relics and revive some higher, mystical being. The map's huge, but that can be a disappointment just as much as a bonus: There really isn't any way to move faster except to find a mount, and those are hard as hell to control, and are rarely found. Those lead to a disappoint on their own: There's a total of 3 mounts. Overall the whole game is a hack-and-slash: There's no real classes, you just choose yours skills and equip whatever weapon, so you could be a warrior summoning some God-like golem to smite your enemies.

yes and no, me and my friend Slick Hippie have been playing this lately, and i completely agree the game needs alot of work, and not worth the 60 dollar price tag. however i got mine for about 15 dollars and to me this was worth it to play with a friend over xbox live. this way with little people there's less lag and also fun to play by the rules and level up.
your welcome to come play with us one day, maybe you could get your money's worth? just send me a message.

I forgot to go into mutliplayer for the sheer fact that the multiplayer lags to hell, so I never play it. It takes 10 minutes to get to the objective, let alone find a game.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - I bought this game thinking it would be awesome and also to play with my friends. story mode - horrible. online was okay but maps were horrible compared to the first. not even close to worth $60.
Guitar Hero Aerosmith - not saying this was bad but i think it needed more songs. like it was fun and all but i beat it in a night. i mean i didnt buy it my mother did but still. its fun to play still but i really think its was only worth like $40-$45
cant think of any others at the moment.

I just bought the first one the other day for $10, now I'm glad I did. Still haven't played it, too many games......

I don't know. I kind of liked Rainbow Six Las Vegas. The AI was pretty good, but on an HD television, the game looks horrible and muggy. However, it's definitely not a game I regret getting.

Halo 2- I had high expectations and it just flat out didn't deliver
but I still played it like every day (not anymore)

Well, at first Devil may Cry 4 seemed like a bit of a disappointment...until i discovered the harder modes like Son of Sparda, and Survival Mode, which i can honestly spend hours on. I would actually highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a break from Halo. The cutscenes are awesome too.
The game i thought was a true disappointment is GRAW2, because the gameplay was so slow and boring. it bored me to death.
other disappointments include every matrix game (except Path of Neo - That game kicked ***) and Kingdom Hearts Chronicles for the GBA (the other KH games rock though)
EDIT:
Oh, and i hated myself for buying COD3, the pace was way too slow for me, and I haven't played it in forever. Halo seems to be the only shooter that I really play.

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom - I'm so glad my friend rented this before I bought it. I played it with him yesterday, and to tell you the truth the game is stupid to play. First of all, it basically has no plot AT ALL. This is the plot.
Your character has a dream.
He/She wakes up.
You go and start killing things
^ That is literally what happens.
Second of all, the AI stinks. The game is hardly a challenge unless you go in online co-op on a level with level 43 monsters.
There are people who think this game is good, but it only seems that way because it is so easy to play and beat as long as you have to agonizing time to do it all.
