Time Zones?

I think the time zone setting for this website is messed up. On th bottom of the page it shows:All times are GMT -6. The time now is 01:14 AM.

I live near Chicago which is in the Central time zone. It is 2:15 and I'm tired so there is a good change that I am wrong, but I think I am in GMT -6.
If I am correct than something is wrong with the forum time.

To me, it says GMT -4 and it's correct.

If the setting is off for you, it's probably something you haven't changed in the User CP (http://www.halo3forgery.org/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions). Remember to have it automatically detect DST changes.

I have it set to automatically dectec DST changes. The time difference doesn't really matter. I was just wondering if it was the same for everyone.

Another wierd problem I have is that I can't log in on the home page. The message pops up that said I logged in, but when it redirects me I am not logged in. It only does this on the home page.

Ask Null. He's in the central zone as well. (Although he's probably got Newfoundland time running on the forums)

The problem may be with the fact that in the Central Time Zone, we are usually GMT -6, but with Daylight Savings we are GMT -5. I'm in Central right now and it says GMT -5 with auto-detection, and the time is right.

You computer might not be set to change on DST, so your auto-detect doesn't pick up that change. Look into it, if that doesn't solve it I can try to help more.
