Video Embedding

I like creating videos to embed with my threads when I'm posting a map. However, this site only allows YouTube (http://halo3forgery.org/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode) videos to be embedded. Is it possible to add more variety to the allowed sites that we can embed from?

I'm asking because some of my videos are longer than 10 minutes, and it takes Vegas almost an hour to two hours to render my videos. I'm having to use Megavideo (similar to Megaupload) to host some of my videos since their restrictions are far less.

Examples:
GameVee (http://www.gamevee.com/)
Megavideo (http://www.megavideo.com/?c=videos)
eatHalo (http://www.eathalo.com/index.aspx)?
and so on (I'm not familiar with many of the video hosting sites)


This would probably also benefit the Video section of Halo 3 Forgery since you have more variety in the sites you can embed from. Kenny once showed some videos from GameVee, but couldn't embed them.

I'm not sure if you even can embed videos from sites except for YouTube without HTML code.

This is one thing that Thomas looked into a while back, but decided against it for technical issues. I never looked at it, so maybe I'll do this now.

Thanks, that would be great. However, if there is an issue with that style of embedding, I'm sure links will suffice.

That would be plenty. However, I still can't believe GameVee isn't on that list... However, that will give me plenty of options to compensate.

I'm going to look into adding that one in custom, I don't think it'll work because I've toyed around with it before and was having some errors.

It's all live, so if something you'd like to embed is on the list just post the URL and it'll embed it for you. ;)

Yup, I'm really liking this because it's a lot more simple and now we have a variety of sites to choose from and if it's not there we can look at adding it.

I believe it is, but I found the updated version of it that has 20x more supported sites... so... DO IT!

Yeah, there is no way around that either. AME puts everything straight into HTML. I tried using the [img] tags, but it barfed.
