XForgery June Update, Week 1
May & June Forgery Challenges (Winners and Future Winners)
We are just about to wrap up the May Forgery Challenge in a matter of an hour or so. So I am reserving this spot right here to inject the winner after that time has passed.
As expected, congratulations to the winner of the Map Forgery Challenge, Tetradymite (http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2620) by AceOfSpades (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=429) & Cerberus Beast (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=617).

And with a comeback from behind, the Runner-Up is Ameliorate (http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2405) by ChAoTiC (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=632).
Congrats to all three of them!
Now, the June Forgery Challenge (http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2783) has also just been posted, which opens up two new possibilities. The June Challenge is all about racing, and there are two categories in which to compete.
Standard Racetracks is the first category, and it encompasses the type of twirling, swirling tracks that you usually see flying high above Sandbox.
Non-Standard Racetracks is the second category, it deals with the crazy antics coming from Mongeese and Explosives, i.e. Rocket Race and Brute Burnout.
You can enter into both categories, but only win in one. Good luck to everybody!
Another New Record (HELL YEAH!)
Wait, wasn't is last week that we hit a new record of 114 for Most Members Online in One Day?!
Yes, yes it was.
But this week we have an even bigger record!
The most members online in one day was 125
After finally setting a new record, we just set another one that blasts it out of the water. Keep it coming guys!
XFOGs (They'll be comin' round the mountain)
As many of you know, we have an amazing Official Gametype, Conquest (http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1505), that is known to almost every Halo 3 Player.
But we have no intention to stop at just one. We want to have plenty more gametypes for everybody to enjoy.
So, join in on the discussion (http://xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2779) and get some of these rolling!
Review Team (If you build it...)
We started advertising for the Review Team last week, and boy did we get some good responses. We ended up getting quite a few new members to the team in the last couple of weeks.
Please Welcome:
BabySmuggler (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=225), bos45redsox (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=530), RightSideTheory (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=265) & MultiLockOn (http://xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=563)
Because we've accepted so many individuals so far, we will not be accepting anymore at this time. That shouldn't stop you from applying, because we will hold onto applications for future spots, but just realize that there aren't any openings at this moment.
Awards (Where's my 5th Map Award?!)
Just a quick description about how the Award System works.....
Everything is done by hand.
Yes, I know. It sucks.
But until I program my way through another method of doing this automatically, this is the way it will remain.
What does this mean for you, the receiver of Awards? It means that when you see that you don't have an award that you think you should, you can go to your profile, click the My Awards tab and then click Request An Award. This will take you to a lovely page where you can request any of the map awards. Click the appropriate one and fill out the form, we will verify it and you will receive your award.
Hopefully, in the near future, I will be able to figure out a nice way to automate this. But until then, this is how it has to be.
