Recent Posts on home screen.

Alright, basically i would be pretty ciped to see a window on the home screen (small but fitting) maybe on the top, that shows the 5-10 latests posts on the forum. i feel this invites people into the community better, and it lets you know whats going on with the forums when you log in.

i dont think theres really a better way to describe it then showing you an example:

this is a site i used while i played a game called ffxi for a bit a few years ago.

Could be done rather easily, but I want to see what everyone else has to say about it before I do anything.

Sounds interesting, and seeing as we already have something similar (http://www.halo3forgery.org/forum/misc.php?do=cybstats), it shouldn't be too hard to implement as Thomas has said. However, I rarely ever visit the home page. In fact, I've only been to it about ten times or so.

I don't think it's necessary. I only ever visit the home page because that's where the login redirects to, and if you scroll all the way down on the forum main page there is a "recent posts" section. I use that now.

i think the home page should be the all access point, people should be able to jump right in when the first come to the site or log in. this could easily help the site grow as it will feel more organized and it will allow for people to get more involved in the forum board.
