This is still a bit under way but I promise this guide will be up and incredibly organized as soon as possible.

MLG Weapons
BR
Mauler
Sniper
Rockets
Carbine
Magnum
Plasma rifle (not common)
Plasma pistol (not common)
Nades-plasma+frag
Power ups-all
Equipment-none
There should be very few of the dual wielding weapons if any.

Drop Spawning
Drop spawning is spawning a weapon in mid air and letting it drop to the ground. Since the weapon falls from it's spawned location, it will respawn at the set respawn timer of 150 sec(MLG snipe timer) or really close to it. If this method isnt used, the weapon spawn times will vary depending on when an item was picked up and it's spawn time can vary jurasticaly throughout the game. Basically if a sniper is drop spawned at 10:00, it will respawn around 9:30, and keep spawning at that rate throughout the game. The only flaw with drop spawning is the weapon can still have its timer messed up. How? Well if the weapon is picked up mid air it can cause the spawn timers to get thrown off and depending on the maps setup the weapon won't respawn at the correct time for the whole match or at all if the original is still being held onto. However this is very uncommon and still preferred to normal weapon spawning for power weapons.

While using drop spawned weapons, you should always increase their run time maximum to at least allow a second weapon of the one being placed to spawn. This means if you have one rocket on your map you should have a run time maximum of two or more. If you have two sniper rifles on your map you should set the run time maximum to at least four sniper rifles. Run time maximum needs to be set higher so that if a sniper is on the map and is still being carried by another player, the new one will still spawn at a normal time, keeping the timer as close to the proper times as possible.

MLG Map Building

Im getting pictures up slowly but surely give me some time.

Explosives- These are seen as cheap kills in mlg games and are therefor not approved for mlg maps. They also can allow for easy map escape and could be rolled to any location to get out as well.

Now this could be seen as controversial. Players in this case cant shoot each-other nor walk to each-other, only see one another. No problem then right? Well... no. The trouble is that even still a piece of architecture like this can still slow down gameplay. The two players now know the location of the other but cant do anything from their position. The players may stand their in safety trying to decide what to do. A player may decide to take a different route so he can catch enemies off guard instead of trying to out gun him. All this slows down the pace of the game so that is why it is debated to use "bullet proof window" like set ups in MLG.
