hi, i just want to say that i find your map posting options very unfimilar.
i think in my apionion you should make your map posting like forgeunion or forgehub.
not just legendary and non foundry.
to be honest thats kidna stupid.
and that just makes it harder to find new maps.
so think about it. my first impresson when i got here is wow, there not goin any where with a forum like that,
i suggest you fix. im posten my first map tomarrow and im still desideing rather to put it in legendary map or mini game maps forums.
so yea.
fix it please.
check out forgeunion forums or forgehub.
thank you

I find this method useful since I can easily find what I'm looking for. If I'm looking for an Infection map, I go to the Infection Map Forum. If I'm looking for a map on Foundry, I go to the forum for Foundry maps, and so on.
If you break the system down, it's just like ForgeHub, but more specific which leads to better searches. All it takes in return is that the poster know what they're posting and the category it best falls under.
Since you mention posting a map, it's either a Mini-Game or a full blown map on a Legendary map. It's one or the other, not both. I expect maps that support multiple gametypes to be located on the more general forums such as the Legendary Map Forum. If I'm looking for a map that is made for a specific gametype, I look for a mini-game map. Not too difficult.
However, I'm a little biased since I'm not a fan of ForgeHub's forums. They're cluttered and everything must fall under five forums for maps. In return, you do get a plethora of maps, but are they really what you're looking for? I like forums that get specific, and I'm not just looking for a competitive map, I'm looking for a good map in general that can be fun too. However, since I'm looking for a fun map, I would look under the casual maps, but I'm missing all of those great maps that are supposedly competitive. It's tricky wording making five categories. Spread your options and the wording becomes simple and easy to follow and the user will find what they're looking for.
Wow, I had a lot to say.

While I do agree that Legendary and Non-Foundry are vague, and that they should be changed or condensed, I wholly disagree with the style of 'competitive and casual.' That's even more vague. What classifies a map as competitive? too many BR's? What's casual? Non-BR's?

My idea for forums:
Infection Maps
Mini-Game Maps
Aesthetic Maps
MLG Maps
Objective Maps (CTF, VIP, Assault)
Non-Objective Maps (KOTH, Slayer, Oddball)

what are you sayen?
casual is obviously infection game types.
competitives is obviously mlg and slay and koth and ctf
mini-games is obviously like duck hunt or mazez
why is this so hard?
the forums are just idk i dont fit with them.
and thoughs who are sayen they like it. well the good thing about haven only 5 forums is that its easyer to find maps.
haven like 8 forums like we do now it makes it more difficult to find.
i suggest they change to be like forgeunion and forgehub.
way better

Casual isn't Infection... It's more relaxed gameplay. I've had maps that you can play CTF and whatnot on: But they were classified as Casual. Casual/Competitive is too Point of View.

i suggest they change to be like forgeunion and forgehub.
Or, you could just suggest a new idea. A different/easier way. Why would we want to get ourselves labeled as another Forgehub clone? I see no point in that at all.
And if Casual and Competitive is so easy for you to grasp then why is Legendary and non-Foundry so complicated?

This is of course personal preference. We tend to like this style of organization; not only because it is different from other groups, but because it makes sense to us and it works. I agree that some of the items could use more clarification, which is why we are willing to change. If anybody has any actual ideas to improve the map forum structure, we are open to new ideas; but we don't want to just "be like ForgeHub".
I'm sorry that our structure doesn't fit your taste, and as others have said, you'll grow to understand it and everything will be okay. ;)

Spelling is a handy tool when it comes to communication, many people do not like having to figure out what you're trying to say ;)
But once i deciphered your point, I have to say that i don't agree. the fact is that we do not want to be "like Forgehub", we want to be our own, individual group.
You are making a mountain out of a molhill - The categories are the way they are for a reason, deal with it and move on.
