XForgery Clans?

So sitting here at work my mind is wandering, and I thought about this. What if XForgery had clans? They don't even need to be called clans, but you guys get the picture. While I would like this idea for "clan battles" and whatnot for tournaments and challenges, I can see how this could seperate the community. But I felt that I would at least see how it is received on here. If we did do such a thing, I think it would either work or it wouldn't. I'm not too sure about in between. It's hit or miss. What do you guys think?

The closest thing I've seen 'clanish' is everyone using the 'Flying Zero' as their Halo 3 icon. Nothing better then doing some matchmaking with a room full of 'Flying Zeros', let me tell you.

As far as any other game, I'd be interested in making ones for COD and possibly any other game.

Yeah it is a great feeling with all flying zeroes no doubt, but I am talking about something like clans on XForgery. Like I am a member of the blank clan of XForgery.

People can easily go make a Social Group (http://xforgery.com/forum/group.php) that is Invite Only, and thus you can do recruiting for your individual 'clans'. Then if you get a few of them, you could easily set up Clan Battles, or whatever you wanted.

If we did something like that, would there be any official clan matches on here, or would it all just be based around the people who feel like keeping up with it? If we don't do it like "officially" I am still all for it. I might end up doing what you said about the social groups.

It wouldn't be anything official at first, but if it caught on then there's a high probability.

Well I created a social group for this and so far it has been well received. I few clans have already popped up so maybe that is a good sign.

Social Group Started, go join it! Already has 50+ Members and continually growing.
