2v2 Tourney

It's at Forgehub, but it's going to be a pretty interesting contest. Many new maps will be released built specifically for the contest, that each play differently. There will even be a full, custom map setup on Avalanche that works great for 2v2. There's going to be some big prizes as well, but these have not yet been announced. A lot of you guys are on your competitive team and stuff, and could probably have a good time with this.

Comp team is more of a 4v4, a 2v2 ladder isn't as supported, but I've been thinking about entering.

Yeah, I had been considering entering as well; but I didn't feel like taking the time to find an appropriate partner and then arranging times around people's schedules is always a pain.

I got a question for the tourney is it only on Forgemade maps or also original maps such as Construct?Also what are the starting weapons and if it is forge mad will we be able to see the maps a few days before the tournament?

Forged maps, released every week of the competition. Don't think gametype has been released, either but I don't imagine BRs would be best (Uber :().

I could be your partner. As for the games, just tell the other team every time we'll play them on Saturday, they can pick a time Saturday, and then showing up on a Saturday in the summer should be easy.

The gametypes are going to be released in a couple days. The team slayer one is team slayer but to 100 points, with two points for a kill and one for assists, to encourage team work. I don't think any of the gametypes have br starts, however there are custom maps that will be released for the tourney, and with the exception of Urban, they have a lot of br spawns all over them, with enough range that if your good with using them effectively, you can kill anyone trying to get kills with an ar.

The maps will be setup particularly for 2v2, and released with a week for you to practice then play each map. Some maps actually say "II v II" (2 v 2 in roman numerals) on them. The maps are pretty good, you might not like Urban, the rest will be good for 2v2 matches.
