After that a count down started on bungie.net at 10:30am July 14,2008.
00:12:00:00 was when the clock stopped and a message stated a new Halo Game was to be announced but the publisher stopped them from doing so...
But is this the end to the SI ARG?

Or is it too readily a trick with quotes such as Expect Delays followed by Please Remain Calm, The fact the countdown stopped at exactly 7:00pm 12 hours before, or that the original home page is still being replaced by the SI ARG Countdown stalled timer?

Well since I woke up early for this I might as well watch bungie.net also the webcams have changed no more SI faces as far as I can tell and I am also watching a cached version of the site before the letter to see what mightve happened (hopefully)_

I don't think Bungie would just straight up lie about something like that, even for a publicity stunt.

The time was up a while ago. Nothing. We have only a single lead, which is nearly impossible to follow, which is a code that forms an image. There are a few people working together to try and decode it, but as of now, it seems Bungie is telling the truth, sad to say.

I knew it was over when Lukems posted a couple times on various forums stating so, Bungie doesn't straight up lie, they'll leave out truths, but never straight up lie.

Anyways As I was watching E3 Day 2 today i noticed on the bottom it talked about bungie.net and how the devolopers had to cancel the big announcment because of their "publisher" atleast G4 knows whats happening.Oh and MS confirmed that it is a new Halo game.
