Favorite Halo trilogy game

What is your favorite Halo game out of the 3 and for what reason?
I like Halo 3 overall personnally

Halo: Combat Evolved because it had the best storyline. Campaign on that game was by far the best as it kept you interested the whole way and followed a story no other game had followed before.

It set the trend for multiplayer action, was one of the only games to allow Co-op play, and had the best graphics for it's time.

Halo 2 and 3 followed that trend, and improved on it, but weren't as groundbreaking as HCE.

Halo 3 because although the other two are amazing and I still play every part of them, halo 3 just offers so much more.

H3. Amazing multiplayer maps, vehicles, weapons, equipment and more. A fun campaign which may not have been the best of the Trilogy but still rox my sox. And then Forge/Customs just top off the cake and keep you coming back for more like a fat kid :D

I like Halo 2 because all the glitches. The mm was also the best at the time except for the cheating.

Halo: Combat Evolved.

1. Multiplayer was balanced and fun. Unlike all the other Halo games.
2. Campaign was considerably better written and excecuted than the other games.
3. Original multiplayer maps actually worked with the game, unlike Halo 3, where half the original maps are garbage.
4. Blood Gulch CTF anybody?

The only thing Halo 3 has in advantage is Forge and extensive custom games options. I feel like Halo 3 saved itself by making itself modifyable into almost a different game entirely.

Multiplayer kicks ass too, but Forge is just too great a factor for me :)

I loved Halo: CE's epic campaign, and Halo 3's beastly forge mode. But overall, Halo 2 had me at hello, when I got it for my original xbox I was happy. The campaign was actually difficult, of which I can say the least for Halo 3. The multiplayer was amazing, because I just loved playing on Headlong. I could play through the campaign over and over again and never get bored of it. Halo: CE, and Halo 3 just don't have that effect on me.

To bad my Mom sold my Halo 2 disk...

gotta be halo 3 but man all of them are good but CE is the one that kicked it all off usually the 1st in a trilogy always stands out

Depends on what glitches. The BXR and Double/Quad shot was beastly and took a lot of work to master. The Super Jumps are extremely cheap, though... <_<

I loved H2's MM but H3 has forge along with the amazing custom games. I also like the different armor. H1 was great but got pretty boring just playing by yourself.
