Description:
Ill try and make this brief, but this could be a wall o' text. Wotcher!
Description: "I can see them!"-Spleentacular. A Conquest 29,000 miles above Earth . 6-12 players, Conquest v3.
When everybody went ballistic over Sandbox, with remakes and mini-games and competitives galore about to explode from the forge, I was left in the dust, wondering what idea could I come up with that hadnt been taken. While touring the Orbital with a friend, HomieG54, he said that Orbital seemed ready made for Conquest, with a layout near perfect for the iconic territory gametype. The evil gears in my head began to turn, and after a night of way too many sodas for a 13 year old, Tethered was finished... sort of. The next day, HomieG54 and I show this map to one of his friends: Friction from Sourgruntproductions. With his help, Tethered gained a massive boost. After a few small 3v3 tests, it became clear that I was onto something. After a few small changes, the Beta was ready.
It is this Beta I stand before you with, and Tethered really cant be finished without you. I need at least 6-8 testers to really "test" Tethered to the limit. Maybe I can give you a few quick pointers to kickstart you.
1: Each team can see each other's spawn. Use this to know what weapons the enemy starts with.
2: If you spawn at the high base, looking down at the other base, youll see teleporters forming into part of the barrier. DONT walk into them! This is this team's "trap". Youll fall to a nasty death.
3: The other team's trap(low base) is at their second territory. Just in front of the doorway leading to the staircase youll see a wire spool. Behind that 2 Fusion Coils. This is this team's trap.
4: The High Base trap is activated by bumping the enemy with grenades once they manage to enter your base. The Lowbase Territory trap is activated by shooting or nading the Fusion Coils to send the spool on a splatter spree, attacking the enemy team.
5: The Center is on the High side of the elevator shaft. The center holds firebombs(2), a flare, and the Custom Powerup, which gives you a brief invincibility boost.
Im counting on you. Obviously you need the Mythic Maps, but please offer constructive criticism. Just post your GT and sometime tomorrow you will get an Invite from Desert Rat 852. Thanks a metric ton!
Cheers!
