View Full Version : Gametype Sequential Escape

In this gametype you and your group must escape out of a confinement zone. You must do this by having one of the members of the group to make it to each secure point sequentially. The opposing team consist of Sniper guardsmen at the wall. They must stop each member of the opposing team from getting past and far enough away from the wall. Each "escapee" has but one life and an insignificant weapon. If one member makes it to a territory it is instantly taken and all "captured" (dead) escapees are "released" from "jail" at the start point. Each territory is locked after capture and can no longer be used as a revival point. So for the escapes to win, atleast one of them must make it past the base walls and far enough away to safety to capture the last territory and free all of the prisoners...

So basically this is one-sided territories, when a territory is captured all of the offense's team spawn in the jail and must flip a switch to open the door. The opposing team has snipers and pistols, there will be an area around the jail and the front of it that guards have access to where they can use their ARs to stop escapees. This area is then connected via teleporter to the actual base wall that the escapes must get passed. The snipers have access to multiple towers that have different lines of sight and each tower must be used appropriately to kill all of the escapees before they reach the final territory. If all escapees make it to the last territory their team wins...

Escapees will have access to various equipment when trying to escape the base. Bubble shields, flares, deployable covers, etc... access to the first few territories will most likely be switch activated. When opening the jail door it will close the two guard doors that allow access to the room infront of the jail, however guards will still be able to shoot from each hallway to try to stop you but will no longer be able to go into the room directly until the jail door is shut again. It's a bit complicated but I have it all thought out in my head...

Also I'm thinking of letting the prisoners shoot at the guards and headshot them with their pistols that they can find in the main room in front of the jail where the "key" is kept as well.

Regen for the Key, you can use a regen switch :D

I planned on having two switches... the openning jail door... mongoose triggered man cannon fusion coils to destroy the two grav lifts holding up the guard doors on the side, the minimum then triggers opening the jail door... then the door out to the top out of the main room is regen activated...
