XBL status Icons

It would be kewl if we put these status icons in sigs, like I have with mine. It provides a users GT, and Live status.

We already have this functionality, just not exactly like this. If you click on 4th Dot next to anybody's post....

You'll get access to their XBL Info, like so:

And if you hover over their Gamertag, you get a nice popup of their Gamercard.

What we have is as much information as we can get by default. In order to get a fancy card like yours, with Online info and such, people need to signup for an account on that website.

Yes, it would be nice to have Online status and such, but there are two things.

I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at.

lol as a massive crazy not so likely coding project do a "Online" status check to see who is online and can play customs currently and allow them to send a msg like you can on the 4th dot to setup a custom game... but I'm not sure if there is a way to check for status activity available to the public. Does H3C Customs do anything like this?

Yes, I believe that it does.

Also, even though I have had an account on that website for a very long time, I can't even get my online status to show up and half of the gamer cards, like the one Mace has, don't even work for me. I just end up getting the default Gamercard, like we already have.

Yes. I beleive it refreshes every 5 minutes. If your playing custom games on H3, it shows you as online, and playing customs on halo 3.

TUT:
If you want to get your gamer card, go to www.mygamercard.net (http://www.mygamercard.net/), go through the steps to link your gamertag, set your user options to allow the site to see what you're doing (check all the option check boxes), generate a gamercard with the Presence/Glass theme, past the BB code version in your sig, and wait about an hour for it to display properly.

a. Dont have boxes checked
b. didnt wait an hour or so for it to properly display in your sig.

This is now implemented. If you are signed up at MyGamerCard and have all of the settings enabled to support online status, then the Presence, Glass Gamercard will show up. Like so:
