Community Race Night
May 6th, 2011
So I'm happy to announce something of megaton proportions, if the banner wasn't already a huge indication.
The folks at Halo Waypoint has asked CruelLEGACEY (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/member.php?u=2064) of Cruel Legacy Productions (http://cruellegaceyproductions.com/) to organize a racing event of pretty awesome proportions. Now such an event can't be accomplished by one person, so cruel is gathering users from around the Halo community to assist in hosting this event.
We already have three hosts for this event, and we could have more as May 6th gets closer. I will be representing XForgery as one of the three hosts.
The Rundown
This event will take place on May 6th, from 9 PM - 11 PM EST.
We will be playing a variety of user generated Race maps. In my party, a majority of these maps will be from the XForgery community!
This event will be posted on Halo Waypoint on the day of the event.
Members of the Waypoint team may drop in and say hello, and of course, race with us.
Expect a full party of awesome, so you better arrive early or you may be SOL.
Looking for Maps
Now when I discussed this event with Cruel, I asked him if there was any limitations as to what race maps we can play. The only limitations are the map has to be a race map (derp), it has to work, and it must support up to 16 players. If your map fits these requirements, then feel free to send them to me in the below link:

If you have an unreleased race map that needs some testing, make sure you submit it to the latest TNT thread (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13688) so we can try it out!
My goal is to use as many race maps from the XF community as I possibly can. I'm also planning to host a few "Race nights" between now and May 6th. So keep an eye out on the events section.
Mark your calendars!
Expect some more details when we get closer to the event. For now, I'm just going to leave you with your socks rocked! :onfire:
